That guy was being a shithead, but I don’t see why he’d have a problem with saying it to his face...
If being called a pussy is all it takes to get someone to lash out physically, they probably need to address some things emotionally. Jalen is way too cool, calm, and collected for all that. He’d probably just laugh it off

What will be tough is that there's no doubt that ESPN & CBS will have a dedicated camera on Jalen while he's standing on the sideline and they'll cut to it every time Tua makes a play, good or bad.
I know that's kind of the price of signing up to play big time college football, but neither one of those guys will deserve that.

I think if Tua isn't the starter by at least the 4th game, he'll be starting for another team in 2019. Not a troll.
Oh yeah, and we will fail to win a national title this year, probably won't win the SEC, and will probably lose to Auburn again, because Jarrett Stidham is so much better than Jalen Hurts that it will counter all our other advantages.

I think Tua would stick it out for one year if he doesn't win the job. He has the most character of any kid I've ever seen.
But honestly I had not given enough thought to the scenario you just proposed. I was too busy focusing on ball security. That result would be a disaster, we would be way better off with Tua. I just hope he wins the job after the first game vs Louisville.
