We hope we can be a little more balanced going forward. We need to get our run game going, because eventually we're going to find ourselves in a game where we actually need it. That said, I don't really care how we score points, as long as we score more than the other team--mission accomplished. This is a strange Bama team in some ways, but so far, one of the most enjoyable to watch as a fan. Minus our punting. The punting has been pretty awful.

I think the fact these DBs have been going against Tua and our receivers is really showing on the field. No body is a bigger threat through the air than what they see everyday in practice.

We sit on the ball every 2nd half. It isn't that complicated.

We've played a lot of 2ed and 3rd stringers after half time where all we do is run. other teams are keeping their starters in during this time. That alone has hurt our running game.

Sarcasm, by definition, cannot be conveyed without audible tone, and audible tone cannot be conveyed though the written word. Therefore, sarcasm through the written word can only be assumed based on context and italics/quotation marks (which were not used in OP), and the context of this thread was that it was started on Sunday/Monday following a game, when this board is at its absolute worst, and the thread was sandwiched between the terrible OPs titled "This might Saban's worst defense at Bama" and "Anyone who watched on TV or analyzed : deal with running game?" in which posters lamented some issue about Bama due to their ignorance of the game of football.
I am more than happy to admit that I lumped George's thread in with this other shite, and that is my bad. I was really replying to 3 threads in one, and that wasn't correct or obvious on my part. I just wanted to say my short piece and exit.
Having said that, if a person wants his/her thread not to be lumped together with the weapons-grade horse manure threads that get started on this website on Sunday or Monday, maybe he/she should take the context into account and make the cleverness obvious. Sarcasm on Sunday is going to take quite a bit of effort.
But hey, I'm a cynical bastard, and I don't expect many to agree with my opinion on the matter. I also think that most who have a problem with my words here are the exact folks making the Sunday/Monday horseshite. So, here we are. Let the downvotes rain (it's so funny that some of you guys think they matter).

Totally unrelated to this thread, but literally just realized that I thought you were the one who was doing the recruiting thread. I frequently don't pay too much attention to usernames, and I never noticed TideSaint and TidalSurge weren't the same. Odd thing to confuse, but I did. Glad I finally noticed.

I totally understand why many think that and why I come off as such, and I deserve much of the reputation. But that's not really it.
I honestly just enjoy arguing (up to a point). I also can be a condescending a-hole sometimes. It is a character flaw, and is an area of improvement I've been working on since I was young. I do a good job of conducting myself appropriately in real life, but I purposefully don't have that filter sometimes on the interwebs. It's an a-hole outlet, I suppose.
I know I do it here, and I know it rubs many the wrong way. Sorry all, but it's who I choose to be on the internet.
I'm hoping to come to a game soon, and if I run into any of you IRL, you'll see that I'm quite dissimilar from prevatt33. I'm happy to buy any of you a beer to make up for any insults.
EDIT: Last thing - I enjoy marijuana, and it makes me really talkative. It also makes me type a lot. That's frequently why my posts are so long - I've always been fixated on communicating accurately, and I also might be a little high.
