Didn’t we already sit him for this at the beginning of the season?

If it's just the meal then yes. His dad already paid the money back and he sat out a game

Yes.

The guy with 43 posts somehow thinks he has breaking news.

Did you read the article? There are 4000 wiretaps and 6 players have been identified thus far. I hope I'm wrong but in the end this could be more than just a meal. They at first couldn't identify BAM but were later able to identify it as ban adebayo. This quote from the article is terrifying:
"which includes more than 4,000 conversations intercepted through wiretaps and financial records, emails and other records seized from Miller's office -- had told ESPN's Mark Schlabach that many of the sport's top coaches and players might be implicated, calling Miller's records 'the NCAA's worst nightmare."

We are probably about to find out how good we are without sexton

We already have. We've had multiple games this year where the team has elevated their game when he's been out and made up for his loss.

Make no mistake though, we're better when the ball is in his hands. He's a key distributor and orchestrates this offense. What is killing us is Petty being a 1-shot pony and not showing up on the road.

Did you read the article?

I did. Did you?

It contains this statement:

"The amounts tied to players in the case range from basic meals to tens of thousands of dollars."

It's got a photo of a balance sheet with a section titled Loans to Players. Know who's name isn't listed as getting money?

The original accusation against Sexton was that Kodi Baker set up a meeting between his father and Rashan Michael.

Michael was a runner/front man for Marty Blazer, who was the bagman for Andy Miller's agency. Unknown to both Michael and Miller, Blazer was also a confidential informant for the FBI.

Literally nothing in that story, the provided documents, or the names involved suggests anything new related to Sexton. On the other hand the fact that he ISN'T listed among those getting cash in the linked documents and isn't named as one by the authors of the story should be comforting instead of terrifying.

Sexton sat out of the Tide’s exhibition game against UAH on Monday after failing to have his eligibility reinstated by the NCAA, the university announced. That issue has apparently been resolved and Alabama will only be without its star signee for one game.

The Sexton family reportedly had to pay restitution for a meal Sexton’s father received from a former Alabama employee, according to a recent report from The Tuscaloosa News.

Good news is, we don't have anything of significance that we will have to vacate.

From everything I have read or seen about this latest FBI news from Yahoo Sports, it sounds to me like the information regarding Sexton is a re-hashing of what we already knew happened through Kobie Baker arranging a dinner or something with Sexton's family. If that is the case, I think that UA has already cooperated with the NCAA to make restitution for this violation and Colin has served his suspension for it.

I'm certainly glad his name was not tied to thousands of $'s being handed out as loans to some of these other players at LSU and USCe. Hopefully this doesn't go any further than that for UA hoops.

Old news packaged as new news to get clicks. We'll find out what it's like without Sexton next year.

There is a bit of new in that we get to see some of the supporting documentation, but yeah, most if it is information that has been public for months.
