Maybe I’ve been wrong all these yrs about what a HC prefers offensively. Via a more balanced attack or more run oriented or more passing.

games. Without Simpson we don't win against UGA and Mizzou

Why Milroe beat those teams last year. I’m glad Tybis now the starter but don’t understand the obsession with crapping on a former QB.

I think passer ratings like this are gone for the time being. Too much attrition in skill positions with players transferring; just not going to have WRs and QBs in the system for so long they can run offenses that efficiently anymore.

Milroe had a specific set of skills (amazing runner, great deep ball) that worked incredibly well against certain defenses, but his limitations became very apparent against others.

I'm still glad for those great games, especially the game against LSU. 185 yards rushing and 4 TDs, another 105 through the air. Barely had to throw the ball, and Milroe had the game of his life.

Jones was a pro bowler! He just won a game on Sunday night. He is not a normal QB.

He's not a "normal" QB but he is a career NFL backup. They didn't win the game Sunday based on his arm talent and quick thinking. They certainly didn't win games based on his athleticism. When BP is well, Jones will go back to standing on the sidelines.

As a 49er fan who watches every snap of every game they play, I have no clue what you're talking about. Mac's rope to CMC on 3rd and 13 to make it 1st and goal and set up a TD helped ice the game Sunday. And beating the Rams in LA with a bunch of third string skill guys was impressive for anybody. He also just got a $400k bonus for winning four games.

Purdy is the starter no question, but there's a reason Shanahan wanted to draft Mac and ended up bringing him to SF anyway. He's a huge reason why they're 5-2, and fans on the Niner board are all hoping he doesn't go to an NFC team to start after this season like Darnold did.

Ty’s basically the second coming of Maccorkle Jones. Waited his turn. Didn’t look overly impressive in some early action. Seen as a game manager. Showed that he IS a game manager but so much more. Has elite ball skills and great command of the offense. Runs a high production offense.

Ty also really knows how to navigate the pocket. Another quarterback, who shall not be named, would have scored 6 against Tennessee Saturday.
