And yet the guy that did start averaged right at TWICE the ypc as #2 yesterday. Almost like the coaches value actual production instead of subjective measures.

this board is a buzzkill. I've never seen so many chicken littles. Some people have to have something to be unhappy with even if actual facts prove them dead wrong. Can't even enjoy the success. Sad.

And I know I'm a sunshine pumper. I'm not for suppressing anyone's opinions. It's merely an observation. I realize that I don't have to post in or even open up this thread. Carry on.

Yep our front is mainly is big slow guys who can’t pass rush. And the sad thing is they can’t even stop the run.

This. They have the desired body type, but lack the athleticism

I would play Ford, Najee, Keilan, BR in that order.

Would you agree that we havent done a good job of getting to 3rd and long to give our guys time to pressure the Qb?

Goodness folks,

Yeah we have some issues, luckily we have a strong secondary that doesn’t let the top get blown off a lot.

The front 7 needs work but again we have a lot of young guys. By LSU we have:

100% Ray
100% Lewis

And likely 100% except for our guys out for the year folks.

We have A week off and a lot of time to develop same for prior to LSU.

My truly honest opinion is, there are about 7 teams who could all beat each other depending on the variables in a game. We are beatable but also can score almost at Will.

That's pretty much exactly what we did against USCe and folks bitched about that too.

I hope Reichard is able to come back soon. Bulovas is a head case.

IMO that and punter are bigger issues than the defense

Are we unstoppable on offense? How do we know? We haven’t faced a defense worth a bucket of warm spit. We’ve done what we’re supposed to do: blow out overmatched opponents. But how will we do against LSU and Auburn and Georgia? Clemson? Ohio State? Oklahoma? Auburn will slow us down if not stop us. Georgia might too. Then what do we do? Pray our pieced together defense can stop them?

We’ve got as good of a chance as anyone to win it all but unlike years past it’s not foregone conclusion we even make Atlanta this year much less the playoffs. This is a very average great team if there’s such a thing. We aren’t head and shoulders above the competition like we have been previously. The rest of this season will be very interesting as nothing is guaranteed or even an extreme probability. The coaches have their work cut out for them.

For one, we are doing things much differently in Sark's approach. This offense is not a one-trick pony. It has the ability to read a defense and protect Tua from the constant blitz's he was seeing last season. The running game is a work in progress but we are trying to do much more than pop our guys open in the RPO look. The same RPO run-game that was almost neutered in the red zone last season.

Full progression reads, Tua is staying out of the medical tent and we are starting to put the power back in our run game again in the money zone.

When something works against our guys it works for 4 quarters.

Citation needed.

Ole Miss was averaging 3.5 yards a rush, had 150 total yards, and were averaging 3.7 yards per play at halftime yesterday. Their running backs were averaging 2.8 yards a rush.

The ONLY thing they had any hint of success with in the first half was the QB scramble.

Lee has speed on par with an average SEC DE. That’s not going to cut it...especially if he is also confused.

According to Drew DeArmond, Ray will probably redshirt. Hope that's not true.

Besides a muffed return by Waddle that set them up in the 20 and 2 garbage TDs at the end, there weren't really any drives.
Their offense was basically QB scrambles from a QB Bama didn't know much about.

They had a 65 yard drive for a FG in the first quarter. And a 75 yard drive for a TD before the third quarter is even halfway over isnt the f**king "end". What game were you watching?

You're entitled to your opinions like anyone else, but when you just make up shite and talk out of your arse, no one takes you seriously.

Delong is scared shitless when he runs on the field. Nick and staff really F up in his evaluation.

From his bio:

"ranked as the No. 2 punter in the 247Composite and the No. 3 punter in the position rankings by 247Sports ... a five-star prospect by Chris Sailer Kicking and rated as the No. 2 punter nationally ... ranked third in the nation by Kohl's Kicking ... the No. 6 kicker in the country by ESPN ."

That's a solid eval from more people than Saban.
