Bama had 48 yards rushing total in the final 3 games. They were in the 120s in rushing yards overall and in conference.
I've been saying this for weeks and demanding everyone responsible to be fired because of it.

This team won 11 games because of Ty Simpson gutting it out.
This team also lost several games and came close losing a few more when he tried to gut it out. I will give him the benefit of the doubt as I know he was hurt during the later part of the season. He could not make the throws down field in the later part of the season. You could see WRs open but he missed the mark or just wasn't able. I believe the play calling was adjusted as well as the season continued.
Maybe Simpson was our best option, but we will never know. From what I saw based on what was presented I saw a QB struggling out there. No longer making his check downs, going through the motions, or being patient. Yes, our team had struggles elsewhere on offense, but our QB was a big part of that.

But you dumbasses want to act like Ty is awful and it’s all his fault
People who dont know much about football just attack the lowest hanging fruit, even when that fruit carried the team on his injured back. There are literally people on this board who think Bama would be in the semis if they had just started a true freshman QB with no experience. You cant reason with these people

Actually the team won because we had one of the best defenses in the country. Once we started playing the tough defenses and teams had enough film on Ty and knew his tendencies we were basically scoring around 20 a game.
quote:
His arm was over 70% of the total offense..
Actually the offense predicated on the QB making vertical passes to open everything else up. So the actual scheme is pass first.
So in a vertical offense tell me how many times Ty Simpson attempted to actual make those vertical passes over 30 yards?
Tell us how many he completed?
It's absolutely strange how every player and person on this team can be criticized and the only one protected by a group on here is Ty Simpson.

This will get downvoted because a lot of the bama fans on this hate him, and think he’s too white. But the fact is, you’re correct. He won us pretty much every game. If anyone can prove differently they would.
I wish we could have seen him develop under a Kiffin or Saban one more year. He’s gone through a lot with this coaching change and turmoil basically. I mean this was his first year playing QB. To do what he did, is pretty amazing, tbh.

Bama just needs a black QB and we're good.

Can we please stop with the race shite?

You're talking to the wrong guy Boz

Yeah, that auburn game was definitely ty winning us a game, and totally not us being in a struggle because of him and his love of going 3 and out. 3 straigh 3 and outs vs Oklahoma had us down 3 scores. Only ty can unfrick the deficits his play produces

Well, technically every one we’ve ever had has never won a NC title. All caucasoids have
Posted on 1/3/26 at 9:21 am to RTRnFlorida
Tua and Jalen were definitely not white guys
Edit: the only races I care about at quarterback are game manager or playmaker

Defense carried us in most of those games.
Womack did a bang up job after FSU.. give him a complementary offense and we roll in every game… this was not the case in the season so you begin looking at the Offensive positions specifically… Ty is not solely to blame be his a cog in the weak machine.

Yes. Spencer Pennington, Tyler Watts, Brodie Croyle, John Parker Wilson, and every other white QB for Bama have won a natty. Tell me you're a bandwagon who's only been watching since Saban arrived without telling me.

Yes…but I am not sold. Sorry. I’ll gladly eat crow, but it just seems that our defense can’t close the door. As good statistically as they are, it always seems as though they allow a score immediately after we score to take the lead.
We have trouble setting the edge, and we rarely stay in press coverage.
Kane is the best coordinator we have, but we can do better:

Because the coaches are actually good. We have a team full of overrated players

Hope this is sarcasm because we never won a natty without a white boy or Polynesian guy slinging it.

I would take Pruitt over Wommack in a heartbeat, but the defense did well enough to win this year. They won a few games for us. They flat out gave up in the Rose Bowl though.
