This is the answer.

Bama’s youth, the type of player Oats recruits, and the system Bama runs makes it susceptible to being bullied.

Every system has it’s weakness and this is ours.

I was there last night. I can't help but think we may never see this run of dominance again. So many great wins, many of them 20,30,40,50 point margins.

Hope they can keep it all together in the tournament. Anything less than a final 4 will be below expectations for this team.

Road wins are hard. Bamas style of play is based on rhythm.

UT did a great job of interrupting the flow and Bamas turnovers didn't help.

Aggie will be another tough road test.

It's an Elite 8+ basketball squad. Not sure how it will finish, but it's fun to watch.

I don't think it necessarily has to be though.

They went after Jarrace Walker, and he would be a pretty nice addition down low defensively, and Liam Robbins or someone of his ilk would make this offense even more dangerous.

It will be interesting to see if Oats makes it a priority to get more bangers, like Pringle, in the future. If Clowney hadn't blown up, I think he could've added some good weight and been better in that regard next year.

I would be shocked if we recruit bigs who just bang on people and are non threats offensively. Our issue in that regard isn't personel, it's system.

If the 2017 Warriors ran into the 2004 Pistons and the games was called like a 2004 NBA game? The Warriors would be in deep shite. All the beautiful stuff they did would be blown up physically and they'd be reduced to having to have individuals make individual plays. That's basically what happens to us in very few situations where we play a team built like the 2004 Pistons that also is allowed to play like an early 2000s NBA game.

Now, that would never happen in the NBA, but it can happen in college because of the wide variation of how refs call games, different styles and the way home crowds can impact how a game is officiated. So we have to have some sort of answer for it. But that answer isn't going to be to deviate from a system that has taken us to the pinnacle of the sport.

Im 100% with you. I just think there are players that can do both, and Oats has shown that he can take "non shooters" and still score a lot.

The one thing I haven't seen from this team that I would like to is that one player stepping up when we need it most being the alpha dog... Brandon Miller is the most talented player on our team but a lot of times when we play our biggest games he kind of disappears. Prime example is in the second half against Tennessee.. Miller played well in the first half, but in the second half he was pretty much a non-factor. Most national championship teams have that one player that when the team is in desperate need of points they will come through. I love how everyone contributes on this team, but it makes me nervous that we don't have that player that will put the team on its back when we are in desperate need of some buckets. I hope it doesn't come back to haunt us, but I have watched enough March Madness to know there will be a moment we need someone to step up
