Bama doesn't need Stevenson. Mo D and Reid can do everything Stevenson can do. And Mo D and Reid are better at defense than Stevenson. Also, there is Nelson in Bama.

If we could have used Mallette instead of Stevenson, we would not have lost even once so far.

Great fight in this team

Absolutely. We all felt it when we went down 4, either time, after being up 7. Gritty performance.

Dioubate is starting to realize his potential and it’s going to be a great thing for this team. In hard hat games like these, he’s gonna be a dog.

We just have to make sure we don’t fall into the trap of being nothing but one on one and begging for fouls. That almost cost us the game when we were the better team by and large. Free flowing is how we kick arse.

Having the proper lineups help with that.

I think we may see some minutes shuffling. We got some physical forwards this year. We can get away with playing Nelson as a stretch 5 much easier this year. Cliff is going to be a factor down the line. What we need is more shooters and Mallette gives us that in a way Stevenson can’t.

Jarin Stevenson played well defensively and I'm willing to bet Houston never goes on that run with Jarin in the game.

Remove Cliff and we don't have to worry about drop coverage. Houston guards got a rhythm because of drop coverage.

Mo D is the Herb Jones of this team. He just does what the team needs.

It was Houston, who turns games into prisonball, with Pat Adams officiating, who hates basketball being free flowing.

Your hate boner for Stevenson is just weird at this point. He played 10 minutes. He wasn't a real factor. Why even mention him when there's so much more to talk about?

I thought Holloway was huge this game and honestly he was very good against Illinois. I honestly was concerned he would wilt against competition and he has elevated

Before this season ends we will be thankful to have all the players we have. Fatigue and injuries are a part of the game. Mo D proved that a guy who is shaky at the beginning of the season can be gold at the end.

Stevenson will play a lot more tomorrow. We are gonna need all the depth for this tournament.

I figured out my D.Reid comparison, for Bama anyway. He is freshman Gerald Wallace. He has tremendous size and athleticism. He isnt polished on the offensive end yet. We cant run an offensive system through him. But we can use his athleticism to cause problems for the other team. We saw what he could do tonight on the defensive end. If he is gonna be guarding the perimeter he is gonna get some fast break action and transition looks. He gives good effort.

Sears is back.

Mo D might have earned a starting job after tonight.

This team has got big time swagger. They aint scared.
