Talent is a gift but character is a choice. More than anything, else it's sad to a young man with such immense God-given talent waste it for something so stupid.

What bothers me is that we have an important cog on our team whose attention is divided and who may not be straight at the most important time of the year when he should be focused on business and in the proper condition to do business.

I’m telling you, he wasn’t himself at the game against OM.

I can confirm an insider told me last week Sherrell is gone for next year. Have no idea why or where he ends up.

Say what? I have saw this nowhere else.

Did someone forget to specify that “becoming a good defender” was meant on the basketball court and not the other court?!?!

Unless this somehow galvanizes and focuses the team, I think we’re in danger of an early exit. The comment about Sherrell being gone is actually more concerning about the fight and focus of this team than even Holloway’s arrest IMO. I just hope we win on Friday at this point, or the Yale chants from barners won’t be fun.

Pot is legal in about 30 states.. too bad we live in a backwards arse place in Alabama.
. True. Also Alabama is one of only 4 states without a lottery and 6 states without NIL for high school players- the reason good ones go out of state to play. Disappointing that Holloway is thinking about getting stoned rather than getting ready to play, but our law agencies need to concentrate on criminals who are a danger to the public rather than some stoner smoking pot. Next man up.

Maybe he’s transferring to a wheelchair team where he won’t be expected to be able to jump

Eta: I retract this mean comment until he actually transfers. But if he does then I mean it.

I have trained myself to believe that at year's end, everyone is transferring. It's highest bidder time as soon as these guys show some ability.

His layup attempt to beat OM was probably the worst single play I’ve ever seen by what is supposed to be a 5.

Yeah I guess Reid and Dioubate left last year. Sherrell wouldn’t be any more surprising I don’t guess. Just seems crazy though. Why? Money? Doesn’t feel he’s being developed enough?

I think it's almost always money now... Your current team knows your shortcomings and isn't going to break the bank. Other schools see numbers and size and overpay. Honestly, we have done the same on quite a few too... I didn't mind losing Reid... Hated losing Dioubate, but we were never paying him what UK foolishly paid.

And our legislators are going to stand behind the Bible and try to legislate morality until the bitter end. All while taking bribes, watching child pornography on their laptops, grifting any way they can, sleeping around on their spouses, driving to Mississippi to gamble, to Florida or Georgia to buy lottery tickets etc. but keeping the status quo keeps them in business. Bunch of damn hypocrites. Right and wrong is a personal choice. And a foundational tenet of conservativism is that YOU know what is best for you, not the government. But today’s so called conservatives want to tell us all how we should live our lives including what we can say, read, and do. frick ‘em all.

Are we seriously blaming Aiden for that? He was surrounded by 3 guys.

Text the biggest pot head you’ve ever known and ask him if hes ever had a pound on hand for recreational use

No need to text, I'm right here. Since the statue of limitations has expired, I'll tell. The most I've had ever for personal use was about 2-2.25 lbs of weed and an ounce of dabs. Second most was 7-8 ounces. Both times I was moving from a wonderful weed city to somewhere I had zero connections. So I stockpiled. The reason I had pounds was I grew like 3 pounds that summer (legally), and had about 1.5 lbs left at move time. I also hit some dispensaries before I moved. It started with a couple ounces of fire. But then I got a little crazy and ended up buying like 12-14. So I ended up with a ton of weed. I'm glad I did, because even when I found someone I could get weed from, my homegrown was usually better. I didn't have to buy weed for like a year and a half.

But those are rare instances in decades of heavy smoking. Depending on the price and quality, the most I would considering buying as a smoker would be a QP (4 ounces). But I wouldn't buy 4 ounces of the same strain. Even the best in the world can get boring.

hough with a good, reliable connection, I woke only buy 1 ounce at a time.

Philons layup attempt was bad obviously but go back and watch. Sherrill doesn’t know his size.

As I posted on tRant, marijuana is not even on the NCAA’s list of banned substances anymore as of June 2024. Yeah it’s illegal in Alabama and he’ll have his day in court. A pound MIGHT indicate distribution intent but not necessarily. Will be interesting to see how Oats handles it.

Just legalize and tax it already.
