He was absolutely going for the knee. Then he targeted Ruggs. I'm glad he wasn't ejected though, so he could get made a fool of.

I want to believe Delpit didn't go low intentionally. However, It's hard for me to believe since nobody blocked Delpit, forcing him to go low, he simply lowered his head and went at Tua's middle. Thank goodness Tia isn't a tall QB. On Jalen, that hit is in the mid to lower thigh. On Tua, he got him in the nuts. But it was a cheap shot. Hard to paint it any other way. They knew the only chance they had to win was with Mack Jones under center and that was their aim. Funny how that happened so early in the game when they actually still felt like they were in it.

Bro, they never thought they were in it if Tua was on the field. It was a lot of false bravado and confidence with LSU and their coaching staff. As soon as they got hit in the mouth they folded.

This. I really enjoyed watching our receivers made a fool of their "heralded" secondary. Watching Irv burn him for that TD right before halftime then mule kick him in the head made me feel a little better about it.

The only players who didn't stop, were LSU players going at Tua. Coincidence?

They convinced themselves that Mack's textbook tackle on Guantanamo Bay was targeting, but that neither the hit on the Ruggs TD nor this Delpit hit were targeting or cheap.

Loved when Irv Smith kicked that bitch in the head after he scored on him.

Multiple fans in the back were giving the false start signal (before cheering the late hit). Even they knew the play was blown dead.

If you go back and watch, the whistle didn't blow until a split second before Tua was hit. I would have played until the whistle blew too.

So everyone else that stopped just stopped for no reason?

Everyone else didn't "just stop". Two guys on the right side of the line got blown by and turned around and walked. Those locked up in blocks quit after the whistle did blow. Those who were rushing and two feet away at the time from the QB maintained momentum. Harris said he heard no whistle. Referees found no reason to throw any additional flags. It was all bang-bang. No issue.
