In addition to Grubb, "Bruce Feldman of The Athletic confirmed part of Low’s reporting, in addition to signaling that Washington offensive line coach Scott Huff and tight ends coach Nick Sheridan will join DeBoer." LINK
Last year Washington was #5 in the country in fewest sacks allowed with 0.8 per game.
We were #122 with 3.5 allowed per game.

He was the oline coach for Chris Peterson at Boise and Washington. I remember their lines to be good

He's going to earn his money coaching our OL.

quote:yes please. I think we are going to end up with a significantly upgraded staff, sucks to lose players and recruits, but good coaching will help emotionally with that. Also, recruiting will take care of itself at Bama if we are winning

Scott, you got your work cut out for you.

I actually think he is set up well.
Proctor developed as he got more experience.
Roberts turned into a beast.
Booker developed well.
McLaughlin left.
Now to figure out the RT spot.
ETA: Last line to RT. Typo.

Proctor played LT.
It'd probably be better if he didn't or he drastically reforms his body so he's not quite slow on the feet.

OL as a whole I’d say was too heavy this year

Yes. Typo. Thanks for the correction.

Washington's LT is in the portal, don't know it's likely he'd leave the West Coast or not.

I think DeBoer will bring in better coaches than what we've had for a while, though they may not be as good of recruiters.
I think you can become a better recruiter easier than you can become a better coach.

With the size and talent of the OL, it should be incredibly good. Even if we’re down in 2024.

Probably 75% of the problems they had this year could be solved if "someone" calls out the protections correctly.

We most likely win both games we lost if the center could snap the ball.

That OL can only go up from here. Addition by subtraction.

And the best recruiter there ever was will still be a part of Bama football.

The offensive line play has killed us. Glad Bama is about to get a big upgrade in coaching.

the ol reminded me of the 2000 ol. coming into the season they were talking about how big they were, biggest in college football. then they had to play real games against quicker dlines. although this years w/l record was much better, the olines looked similar, big n slow.
