I miss Wooly.

If Alabama had an OC opening, he'd be my preference over Joe Brady.

I don't think his scheme at LSU was that impressive. I thought they were incredibly risky in the throw game and it worked because the sheer quality of talent at WR, TE, and RB plus their QB is one of the toughest son of bitch I've ever seen.

Not often you have can have a scheme predicated on your QB eating the unblocked man to allow 1 of the 5 released into a pattern get open first.

Frankly that is near the bottom of the list for the type of scheme I want to see with our 5'11'' 185lb QB.

That’s correct. We all saw it go, same story from that side and I’ve not heard another version.

Miami is also pursuing Toledo head coach Jason Candle for its OC position. Miami must be offering big money because a MAC head coaching job is a great stepping stone job.

The further away 2019 is, the less i think it had to do with Joe Brady and the more I had to think it had to do with the QB and WR's. **Note the Bengals**

Yep - specifically Burrow. I do think he brought a nice scheme that fit perfectly for the personnel they had. It's pretty wild HOW perfect the Saints offense was for that team they had.

- Cerebral QB who is deadly accurate, great on the move, and an incredibly smart decision maker

- All around elite WR (Chase), great route runner in the slot (Jefferson), animal physical specimen who got the 3rd DB (Marshall) and then an athletic TE who basically had to be guarded by a box safety or OLB anytime he went out.

- Shifty, strong running back who is great catching the ball out of the backfield

- Average run blocking and poor pass blocking offensive line

They were built to run that offense. And while Brady (and Ensminger) did a very good job of teaching the offense, install, solid play calling, etc.........pretty clear at this point that Burrow was basically the 3rd OC in that group.

I wish the Saints offense would actually work for the Saints in the playoffs.

Garafolo, speaking on NFL Now, said he was "not getting that vibe" from his sources that O'Brien would be the team's choice despite the presumption that he is a favored candidate for Jaguars general manager Trent Baalke. Per Garafolo, the Jaguars have completed their first round of interviews and are entering the second phase of their search with follow-up interviews.

Not exactly shutting the door on BoB being their next coach.

The 2019 LSU offense had better QB/WR players than the 2021 Saints

Don't feel bad, it was way better than the Falcons too
