Same. The exact same trap is laid from last year. And if not Vandy, Mizzou or S Car could present major obstacles. Obviously it appears that Tennessee will be a handful. We drew the Uno +25 card of schedules.

SCAR is pretty bad. Mike Shula is running the 2003 Bama offense in Columbia.

We luckily have both Vandy and UT at home.

My confidence is kind of wavering this morning. I have no expectations. I'll be thrilled if we win, but I'm not going to be all that upset if we get our arse kicked. I'll probably just check out for the season. Still watch the games, but not spend any free time on cfb outside of Bama games, and big SEC games on Saturday. Not a bad thing.

I listened to a lot of Sirius XM College Sports yesterday and almost every talking head picked us to win tomorrow. Kinda surprised.

No game should be considered a “trap” among those within this football program after last year and Florida State this year. If anyone is still walking around that facility thinking we can just show up on any given weekend going forward and we’ll just be given the W by putting on a crimson jersey, we are gonna get embarrassed again (probably multiple times if that’s the mindset; however, I don’t believe it is though).

To the poster’s point that you were responding to (Vandy will be tougher than Uga), I actually somewhat agree. UGA runs more conventional concepts on offense and I think is a better matchup for UA than Vandy’s gimmicky, Malzhan-esque offense. Vandy certainly should not be considered a trap game after last year, but I do think they will give us a tough time again based on their offensive style and Wommack’s history of ineptness when facing that style of offense.

Yea Vandy’s offense and then Mizzou and SC (especially Mizzou the way they’re playing) with mobile QBs are likely to give Wommack fits.

There were times at the peak of the dynasty where the joy of winning a big game was sort of gone, and it was more relief that we didn't stumble and lose. There were other times where parts of the fanbase, myself included, would be disappointed if we didn't win by enough. For better or worse those days are gone, I'll thoroughly enjoy a victory saturday if we pull it off

It got to the point where winning games was basically just relief that we didn't have to deal with everyone celebrating every loss like they just won WW2. Life is more fun with balance

That's still happening for now. When was the last regular season loss that didn't result in a field storming?

as a Georgia fan, Alabama owns us until we prove different

I am hearing that "smart money" is favoring Bama; it will be interesting to see if the line jumps 2 or 3 points Saturday morning
