To be honest, the FCS semis between the Dakotas and Montanas are way more entertaining football to watch.

Disagree. PennSt doesn't have the dudes to stop Milroe on the ground. All BAMA would need to do is run the opposite direction as #11 in blue.

This "or's" seem to only apply to Alabama.

The worst fans are the self-hating ones.

Vandy and OU are better than Penn State, SMU, and Indiana

Stop it. The OU team we played was weak... Too many injuries... They had 3rd string wr in. They ran the ball down our throats and we didn't do shite on offense.

People need to realize that we stepped on our own dicks.

I think we COULD beat anybody.

And depending which Milroe shows up, COULD lose to anybody.

We didn't deserve a playoff spot, sorry, but if you're going to SMU, IU and others in, then BAMA should be there.

Get rid of auto bids for conference champs not in the final Top 12.

There are 12 teams who beat their respective Vandys and OUs.

Vandy and OU probably would have been 2 of SMU’s top 3 wins. Their schedule was absolute trash. That is the point you are missing.

This was not a playoff worthy team.

Clemson and ASU getting springboarded into playoffs by winning their shitty conferences (and ASU getting a bye) was one of the biggest jokes of the whole thing that no one is talking about.

#16 to a 4 seed with a bye week. Awful

The seeded is something that needs to be fixed, starting with next year if they able to change it. The committee make it the top four ranked teams get byes regardless of conference.

They need to seed by ranking and get rid of the AQs

Or, what people could do is to recognize that two things can be true at once. Namely, that if we had taken care of business and won one more game it would have taken things out of the committee's hands, AND that the committee received due embarrassment for having selected SMU for the playoff.

We beat Wisconsin... by a larger margin than Oregon and Penn State combined.

We would have dunked on Penn State like they were LSU.

the FCS semis

Is where SMU should have been playing.

Listen, we all know Bama laid a massive egg against Oklahoma...but if SMU had beaten Oklahoma it would have been pointed to as their "biggest win" over a blue blood program that showed they belonged.

I'm more pissed about Indiana and SMU getting in than I am about Bama not...but we should have. 12 teams is too many, but if you're picking 12, Bama should have been there with more top 25 wins than any other program.

The committee did a shite job influenced by the Sean McDonough and Booger McFarlands of the world.

Say what you want about Oklahoma, but their schedule was brutal and I think they are a better team than their record indicates. They played and lost to the following teams:

- Texas (11-2)
- Tennessee (10-2)
- Ole Miss (9-3)
- South Carolina (9-3)
- Missouri (9-3)
- LSU (8-4)

What would SMU or Indiana have done against those same six teams? I doubt they do any better than OU did.

We should have been in. Bottom line. SMU but more so Indiana were pretenders. I think ND will end up being one as well. The people who got a seed with a championship we can’t do anything about.

Here's the thing, Boz: the championship winners should not get an AQ either.
