Not really a troll, just more of a realist than most "fans". Fans is short for fanatics, and most fanatics are too emotional to see things objectively. And Alabama football fans are among the worst in this regard.
I wanted to post my question in the aftermath of yesterday's fiasco because the emotion hasn't worn off yet. But from reading this board since the game, it sure seems that most fans now realize how mediocre this team and coaching was in 2024.

He shouldn't be fired for not hiring Kiffin. But that hot seat DeBoer is on is a love seat. They are both on it, or should be. The football program is Byrne's mess to fix...whether by providing the leadership necessary for DeBoer to be successful, or by pulling the trigger if DeBoer continues to fail.
And ask yourself this: if that happens, do you want Greg Byrne leading another football coaching search?
