the media does this hype bull shite on purpose to unsettle our juniors so they leave early.

Can’t really disagree after seeing some projections the past couple years.

Mack was mocked as a first rounder based on his sophomore year, which was very good. By the time "draft season" came around after his junior year, he was rightfully dropped out of first round projections.

No he wasn’t. After he finished his last season, he was widely projected as a first rounder. Most mocks right before the combine had him going 1st round. This continued some even after the combine. No one expected him to drop that far.

It will be 3-4 first rounders at most.

At minimum, the way I see it Jeudy, Ruggs, Wills and McKinney are basically locks. If Tua declares I'm sure someone will take that chance.

A month ago I woulda included Diggs in that but he really struggled against similar talent.

And I don't know that anyone's gonna be knocking down the door to draft an off ball LB in the first round who just missed an entire season, even if Moses's sophomore tape was pretty good.

Not sure where you are getting McKinney is a lock.

And the thing is his tape wasn’t that great (as in All American great). He made more big plays but he looked as lost as Mack out there plenty of times. Moses could easily drop out of the 1st.

Just because you think that doesn’t mean teams are 100% going to pick him in the first. As of right now there’s nothing to suggest he’s a lock like Jeudy, that OSU CB, Chase Young Burrow etc. are. Those guys are true locks.

There is absolutely no way my son would play in a bowl game with millions waiting for him if he could just avoid injury.

I don't give a shite. You can kiss my arse on that. My son's future and our family's future is more important to me than your opinion. Frick that.

You're still helping your university by ensuring you get that first round pick.

We use how much our players sign for as a recruiting tool.

Education isn't free dummy.. if it were they wouldn't have to be an elite athlete and perform at a high level in order to get and retain the scholarship.

I would prefer they go if they want. The only way this bowl game mean anything is to use it’s prep for next year.

I mean the big difference in the situation obviously is no one was sitting out bowl games like that back then. Who knows what happens if they were to be playing today

I think there is still some confusion with the mock drafts and the analysis Saban gets from the NFL on players. Saban met with Mack and his parents and advised Mack Wilson to stay because of where he was being projected.

That's easy when you sign for millions. I do not look at this emotionally. Football at this level is business.

Yeah you do. You’re pretty emotional, Nancy. College football is a team sport. If you can’t sacrifice for your brothers then you ain’t got a lick of character.

But what are you sacrificing for? All you're doing at that point is risking your future and taking reps from the guys that will return for next season.
