Hopefully North Texas and Wake Forest saw something in him that the rest of cfb missed.

I pointed out earlier as it was evident in the Wr comeback to Stewart in the A-Day game.
Coker release is bad for that and wr screens.

I also think play action coming from under center will help Coker with extra time.

Also the play were the Wr comes in reverse motion with play action to the back.
With the Wr open crossing in the flat.
Blake knew it was a quick hitch throw and got it out to give wr more time to catch and turn up field.

Coker starred Wr down for almost 4 sec.
and there lies coker bad habit.

The avg Qb pass comes out in 1001,1002, 1003,
the Balls out on patterns 20 yards in under..

Coker is averaging 4.5 to 5 and thats bad on all levels..

Again if it's coker look for a lot of play action on plays that are not even deep throws.
Just to by him more time.

It's hard to believe the kids been playing qb with that slow release that no OC or QB coach has re-set his mental clock.

He has a nice arm and can make all the throws.
But his release time is all mental.

Talented players fly under the radar all the time. There are a ton of NFL players that didn't get any big time offers out of HS. Means nothing.

I was reading Suttles' post-scrimmage notes and realized that I haven't heard Jabriel Wahington's name since spring. Surprised there's no talk of him in dime since he was playing in some packages late last year.

Eddie Jackson seemed to have picked up safety well. Add in Geno Smith and the young corners taking the spots in nickel and dime usually occupied by safeties, then Washington is probably playing with the second string dime.

Probably doesn't mean he's playing poorly just that the young guys seem to have taken the bull by the horns.

Saw that despite the surgery, he will be available for the Wisconsin game! Glad for him that it won't cost him too much time. Though I'd imagine he'll miss some critical prep time if he isn't back by Monday.

He wasn't too shabby in HS. His TD /INT ratio was pretty damn good. Not surprising he has taken Care of the ball as well as he's done. I'm pretty sure he won a state championship and broke gmacs Sr season stats.

If we play both Coker and Morris vs Wisconsin, that should be pretty fun.

I don't think a QB competition in a big game is fun.

If their offense scores more than 7 I'd be in complete shock, so I don't really see it as that big of a game. It'll look good on paper because they'll win 10 games, but I don't see them as a threat. If it's a close game I'd rather not play multiple QBs.

I too am excited to see how the QB situation shakes out in the Wisconsin game.
