Only racists would do that. We just had a black Heisman winning QB for 2 years. Before that a NC winning white guy as QB for maybe Bama's best offense in history. Before that maybe the most talented pure passer in Bama history who was Samoan. Before him a black QB. Then a white QB....etc etc.

No...all we want is a WINNER.

The whole black QB thing is insane. 2 of our last 4 QBs have been black. Our team is 80 plus percent black. The guy backing him up is a Korean and you’d probably be hard pressed to find another Korean QB maybe any where.

Why does anyone give two shits about Corey Miller and his opinion?

Why would anyone concern themselves with the opinion of some former NFL or South Carolina player most people have never even heard of?

Who cares.

Milroe sucked. What does race have to do with that?

Now if Buchner sucks and people don't attack him then you would have a point.

Perhaps that's part of why Saban didn't pull Jalen against Texas. He wanted everyone to see for themselves that a change was needed.

I won't say there won't be some race baiters sky-scream when we bench Milroe, but outside of the activerse, no serious person could possibly entertain the idea of it being a race-based decision. We just, again, got the starting QB wrong

Alabama has had black quarterbacks intermittently for over 40 years.

Also, "80 plus percent black" is an understatement. Looking at the depth chart, of the 22 starters on offense and defense, 21 are black. It is unreal to me that this discussion still happens.

Race is irrelevant in this situation.

Exactly No one complained or had concerns when Bryce Young (who is black) was QB1 because he could play!! The issues people have with Milroe are legit concerns because he has not shown he is capable of performing at the level of a QB1. End of story.

I'm sorry to say this, but that video is clearly racially motivated

It's racist because 22/22 starters aren't black. And then it will be racist because there aren't enough black coaches, and then racist because not enough black fans can afford to go to the games, and on and on and on.

Nothing is ever enough, and we should promptly stop giving a damn about what these race hustlers think

Is he the same guy who is on the radio with his son that played for Bama?

No, that's Martin Houston. Martin is the president of the Milroe fan club

Houston is a Milroe fan, I haven’t listen to see if he’s changed his opinion. There is another show on at night or midday, might be Jox, that has a Miller and his dad.

If we're being totally honest some people blamed him for BOB's horrible offense and they couldn't wait for him to go.

White QB's have been a minority under Saban.

White QB’s

JPW (inherited)
McElroy (inherited)

AJ
Coker
Mac

Minority QB’s

Sims
Hurts
Tua
Young
Milroe

So Saban has played 5 white guys , 2 of them he didn’t recruit vs 5 minority QB’s , which he signed.

So that’s actually 3-5 on players Saban recruited..

Anyone that thinks color matters to Saban in this situation is a dumbass

We have a dual threat QB, but Rees is not using him correctly.

I firmly disagree with this characterization. There were 3 or 4 plays the other night that could have been touchdowns or long gains that Milroe either didn’t see the open man or missed him (McClellan wheel route). That tells me Rees called good plays, but they weren’t executed well.

Milroe is not the entire problem, and he doesn’t deserve all of the blame. However, he didn’t demonstrate any improvement from what we saw against Texas A&M last season.

Huh? That's not true. Maybe some troll posted some shite at some point, but all I ever heard was how we would have been screwed without Bryce to keep us in games last year. Unfortunately he couldn't overcome Golding's shitty defense against Tennessee...but he almost did... and really would have without the critical drop by Gibbs.
