After some quick research I'd be completely on board with hiring Gleeson. There's no chance Saban let's someone that young and inexperienced run the offense though.

I'm all for someone young, keeps some continuity - hopefully Saban can mentor Lupoi sort of like with Kirby and we get some more stability going. In a rough stretch with turnover and competition, but maybe this will be the kind of challenge that the team / coaches can galvanize behind and move forward into the next era of the Saban Dynasty.

I agree theres reason to be alarmed, however in Saban I trust. He's overcome this before and will do it again

Yeah, I can't say that I'm too worried about the future.

Who wanted Mac Jones as a QB? I would fight that coach.

Mack was a roster filler so they could conduct practice and that is still his position.

I think it is really important in whoever we hire as OC or QB coach (if the OC doesn’t have both roles) that that coach be someone who can continue to help Tua develop. I think Tua has areas he needs to improve in, and I think that was an area that Enos would have been very valuable.

Agreed, but Tua honestly could go into next year the same as now, get all the reps and be fine, we need someone to develop the two qb's behind him because we need a quality starter in 2020.

So if we go with what we think we know, then the past excitement for Enos is really because of how Jalen looked this year compared to last year. So... Imho maybe it's not so bad.

Tua also developed tremendously as a passer. He was a first year starter, he will have holes in his game. Don't confuse this board being willing to address his flaws instead of ignoring them for him not being developed tremendously under Enos.

who are the best QB coaches out there? After Tua (and even Tua needs continual coaching) the new guys will need to be coached up and whomever it is will need to court/woo Carson Beck....Let's get a good'un

The question was if Enos was the OC did Bama switch back to a more pro-style offense like Dan was known to run or was Nick going to ask Dan to stick with the current spread type offense or a version of both? I find it hard to believe that Nick offered the job to Dan and Dan accepted the Miami job over the Bama offer if money wasn't an issue beside Dan is still getting paid from The Hogs and money he makes from his new gig is deducted from what UA owes him for two more years. It has to be A or B or C.

A-Dan doesn't want to work for Nick
B-Nick didn't want Dan as the OC.

Boz says Saban wants the spread still, even if thats not RPO, he apparently sees the future of the offense and team in that direction. I am genuinely confused by Enos and whether he thought he would be able to transition an RPO offense back to Pro-style when we recruited to the spread style.

I love that our fanbase would rather run a worse offense.

Do you say anything intelligent ever?

I never noticed you until like yesterday, but it's been nothing but stupid shite from you constantly.
