Social media has created such a trash following for major sports…the shite ppl say man.
You’d think that the United States just won their freedom from Nazi Germany tonight in WW3 with the celebration going on. Ppl really loathe Bama. It’s wild.
The takes I see from respected media members too. Guys like Bud Elliott mocking the committee and calling out Milroe throwing for 116 yds. As if that’s a fair comparison based on who got into the playoff.
Bama lost in OT to the no . 1 team in CFB and suddenly we’re trash that shouldn’t have gotten in. It’s so stupid.
Proof that Alabama is judged on a different scale. If Bama doesn’t win a game by 4 TDs we’re “not that good” according to casual spectators.
Look I’m not happy with the offense at all and I’m not saying we don’t deserve criticism but the takes that Bama didn’t deserve a playoff spot based on losing this game is ridiculous.

We’re not going anywhere, but we do need to fix some things. Milroe has to get better at reading defenses, and our Wr’s have to develop some breakaway moves. We have no Smitty in this group. Our OL needs to develop. Can we possibly get the Notre Dame Center?
Defensively, we need to get back to being able to shut people down when we need that final stop. Dallas Turner’s comments tonight were disturbing when he was asked why there was little pash rush effectivenesss from BAMA.

Threads like this one are better not started after a tough loss, and a day of drinking. Posts are made out of frustration that sometimes, have unnecessary negative implications, and cause problems.....just saying.

Agreed but I don’t disagree with the OP and it’s not a bad thing. It’s so damn hard to win a National Title. We’re facing the reality of how hard it is when the ball bounces the other way.
By definition technically speaking the “dynasty” has been snapped. We’ve won 1 in 6 years. It’s a hard truth but it doesn’t mean we’re a worse program. We just have to learn to finish.
The last 3 seasons we’ve been right there. Right fricking there. Just have to finish. Even in 2022 if one single play changes in one of those losses we have a different outcome and we’re in ATL owning Georgia again.

Not sure why the OP got so many down votes. Alabama, in its current form, is clearly not a dynasty. We had the greatest dynasty ever and we all knew it wouldn't last forever, but the comedown hasn't been as bad as some feared. We're still an elite program that competes for conference and national championships on a yearly basis, and that's all we can realistically ask for as fans, and it's something we should be proud of.
