Thanks for the lists. You’re right, what a high number of “hits” in that class. Just another example of the evaluation and closing abilities of this staff.

I'm not opposed to that if he's not going to be 100%, but I'm starting to worry about him being a meaningful contributor this season. Kid just can't stay healthy enough to practice

Im liking Pritchett over Edwards. More dynamic, imo.

High ankle sprains are nasty for skill players. You can be “close” for a month, run full speed straight line and do ladder drills, and still not be able to cut laterally on it without pain and restriction. They are also prone to reinjury if you rush it.

There’s no reason to rush him back. I thought it was notable that DeBoer said in his most recent interview that basically he has seen enough already in practice to know what he has. That tells me when he’s physically ready, he's going to get an opportunity. This is not a “he’ll get buried on the bench because he hasn’t practiced enough for the coaches to trust him out there” situation.

So he's saying that Alabama is not broke.... That goes against what everyone was saying on this board for months ... Bama is broke. They can't afford this and that.

I've been saying this since the NIL bullshite became a thing. We are going to have to go back to getting a good mix of players that either grew up as diehard gumps (IE Trent Seaborn, Ryan Williams) or find players that are can be molded into ownership of the standard and the brand.
I'm OK taking a player that's a 4* 4th generation Gump over a 5* hired gun that's going to bail at the next highest bidder.
It's like Bear used to say. Take a 3 star and coach him up into a 4* and then make him believe he's a 5*.
