#5 has an ability to make a QB better than they actually are.
See: every QB BAMA has played in 2026.

This is not ideal. He will sling it around and if he doesn't turn it over a lot he will make a lot of plays. We have got to make him pay for putting the ball in jeopardy.

Last week Kane said in his presser that he wouldn't blitz much because Gunner was so effective against it. I can see Kane turning up the heat this week.

I don't think so. They have a quarterback problem. If Bama does not shut them down, I will be surprised. Could not figure out how they hung with Texas except Manning had a bad game. He made a few plays but inconsistent including two penalties for passes beyond the line of scrimmage.

For people saying all QBs look great against Bama so far only 1 guy has completed over 60% of his passes (Stockton) and only 1 guy had more TDs than INTs (Taylor).

We’re 85th nationally which means only 11 P4 teams are worse than us from an adjusted defensive pass yards per attempt standpoint.

Our secondary is statistically the worst we’ve had YTD since they started tracking this stuff.

Maybe it improves moving forward but it hasn’t shown any indication it will so far this season.

Which is crazy, because it was supposed to be a strength this season. Brown has been as advertised, but the safeties and Lee have been straight up bad throughout the season. Wommack's defenses have seemingly gotten better as the year progresses, hopefully thats the case this year.
