Everyone but David Pollack and Corso picked Clemson. They didn’t out right say it but they didn’t think we could win throwing the ball.

David Pollack picked Bama.

Joey Galloway, Jesse Palmer, and Booger McFarland all picked Clemson.

I didn't see the guys in Pasadena (Desmond, Corso, Herbstreit) pick yet. Listening to Herbie talk about the game earlier today made me think he was leaning Bama.

Hell, I picked Clemson at the office.

He didn't put the elephant head gear on - if that means anything. He put the head gear on of the other game and picked oklahoma.

If anyone watched theses two teams since the start of November, Clemson is the clear favorite to win.

Just about every good defense Bama has played with Hurts as the QB has shut down Bama's offense. This goes back to the LSU game in 16.

Can we get a definitive list of these good defenses?

The best defenses Bama has played since Hurts has been the QB are

2016
LSU
Washington
Clemson

2017
FSU
LSU
Auburn

Hurts stats in those games are pretty awful. Defense and forcing turnovers won those games.

Kelly Bryant is worse than Hurts.

Wow

They’re the top ranked team and the reigning NCs, so why is it a shock they’re getting picked?

Nope. Last year in Atlanta Florida made him look terrible too. When it comes to throw in the ball he isn't just bad or average, he is outright fricking terrible and the stats prove it. Our defense led us to the title game last year despite bad quarterback play. He only threw for 80 yards against a bad FSU team this year. Only a retard would argue otherwise regarding Jalen Hurts at this point.
