Your post seems to infer that we have a fan problem.

What do you think would happen if Tom Brady walked into an Atlanta sports bar full of Falcon fans?

So you're saying we don't have a portion of the fanbase that could described as lunatic fringe?

I didn't say it's an epidemic, but it definitely exists imo.

99.9% of Bama and all CFB fans behave themselves. It is the .1% that act a fool.

Downvote if you want but frankly I don't give a shite that this happened.

You think Nick Fairley or Cam Newton would've received warm welcome in an Athens bar following 2010? Jameis in Gainesville? Derrick Henry or OJ Howard in Clemson? I went to FSU and know for a FACT Tebow wouldn't have been allowed in the door of Kens. It's a popular sport played by passionate players cheered on by passionate fans. There's a lot of emotion tied to it these days. This isn't a big deal.

To me what's strange is why he'd want to go into a popular bar in Tuscaloosa in the first place. He's not some dumbass that can't fathom how that might create issues yet he still went regardless. It's at best being naive and at worst rubbing it in. This isn't just "oh I just wanted to get a burger with some friends what's the problem." You're not that stupid son, cmon man.

Did any of Bama players last year head to a bar in Clemson? Look he has a right to go anywhere he wants but don't be so naive to think he was just passing through Tuscaloosa of all places. He went to stir shite and accomplished that. The players did him a favor telling him to get out.

It doesn't matter, what happened is a bad look.

But it's a minor thing nobody really gives a shite about.

I agree, but do we still not have a really clear picture of what exactly went down?

I think there is something deeper to this and guess what? It involves a female!!! Evidently, Watson is dating TJ Yeldon's ex-girlfriend and everyone knows that Ryan and TJ went to HS together at Daphne and are pretty tight to this day. I imagine there were some words exchanged and Ryan took exception to it and he asked Watson and the flavor of the month to leave.

No what should give this a bad look is unless there was a good reason to be passing through Tuscaloosa and going to a fan favorite hangout it means he is simply a shite starter and that's what he intended to do. As a fan living in Baton Rouge I don't intentionally go around provoking LSU fans by going all Bama decked out at LSU sports bar. If you're doing that you're intentionally looking for a response. Congratulations he got it. People shouldn't overreact. No violence occurred.
