If we do sign McKinnley Jackson..........

Defensive Linemen
SR - LaBryan Ray
JR - Phidarian Mathis
SO - Byron Young
SO - Christian Barmore
SO - Justin Eboigbe
SO - DJ Dale
SO - Stephon Wynn Jr
R-FR - Ismael Sopsher
R-FR - Braylen Ingraham
FR - Will Anderson (DE or OLB)
FR - Timothy Smith
FR - McKinnley Jackson
FR - Jamil Burroughs

That is a looooooooooot of dudes, most of them with experience and some super high ceiling true freshmen.

If we don't come at teams in waves next year up front I'm going to be pretty disappointed.

Smith and Jackson on the inside in 2022 will be the most disruptive duo we've had since Allen and Payne.

I'm not selling the current crop short, they just aren't the backfield disputer types. Young, Eboigbe, Dale are more in the Stinson, Square, Buggs mold to me. Gonna be really good players. Smith and Jackson can be elite.

I have a feeling that we will have another national championship in the next couple of years. The last two recruiting classes have been really lights out.

I’d like to see Eboigbe get a little leaner, but I think Young, Eboigbe and Dale’s floor is an Isaiah Bugg’s quality player. Young was highly regarded as a recruit and LSU went after him hard, with Nick doing everything in his power to prevent that. I think Young has potential to be elite. He’s a very powerful kid and has great quickness for his size. I’m looking for him to have a big year.

It's great to have all of those DLs competing for playing time. Hopefully it'll result in being able to rotate them with little to no drop off. Being able to stop the run and also pressure the QB with 4 pass rushers is the key to consistently stopping modern prolific up tempo spread offenses.

Ray will be a redshirt junior.

But the thought of all that coming back for 2021 gets me thinking it can compare to 2015.

He's the wild card. Really looking forward to see how he progresses.

At the very least it's deep af

Still gotta see these guys get better before the get much more praise, but it's a much better situation than the last 2 seasons for sure.

Excited to see DJ Dale. If this unit turns it around and looks great this year, that front in 2021 will be the Great Wall of Tuscaloosa

Just imagine... Bryce Young lives up to the hype, Trey Sanders is great, and we land a bunch of good receivers in the 2021 class. That, plus a loaded defensive front. That could be a fun team to watch.
