Haven’t read they tried to open the door.

But it makes sense to me that 1 dude with 2 girls in a car is going to be scared or intimidated by 2 males.. one of them being a 6’7 gigantic man. I doubt the boyfriend thought, “I can whip both of those guys “.

One thing my dad always told me… “beware of someone that is scared of you, they’ll shoot you because they don’t think they can whip you”!

I’m not saying that’s what happened, but it makes more sense than the story that’s being told currently

Does anyone know if Buzz had a prior record? I assume he didn’t since it hasn’t been mentioned, but if he wasn’t legal to carry a weapon and Miles gave one to him, Miles is screwed. Just praying for the best for all involved, especially the young lady’s 5yr old son.

I don’t believe he had a record but I’m not 100% sure. I read his lawyers statement a few days ago, and I seem to remember it stating he hasn’t had any prior arrests.

Buzz goes by the name of Buzzo PFK, he has a couple of videos on YouTube, in one of the videos he says Miles offered him a chance to come to Tuscaloosa to stay out of trouble. Go to YouTube and under "NoName TV Episode 8" Buzzo PFK . Apparently he was getting in a lot of trouble in his hometown and came to Alabama to stay out of trouble. He also has a lot of music videos holding a handgun in each and every one of them. What he did in coming to was ruin Darius Miles life.

Based on the article it sounds like it was Miles gun and not Miller's correct? Did Miller bring the gun to Miles from an undisosed location?

It doesn't sound like Bradley did anything wrong other than being at the bar at the same time.

Judge denies bond for Darius Miles in capital murder trial, will go to Grand Jury (on3)

Judge Joanne Jannik denied a motion to set bond for former Alabama basketball player Darius Miles on Tuesday afternoon. The decision comes after hearing the evidence presented in the capital murder trial against the defendant and means his case will be heard by a Grand Jury.

Miles, along with Michael Davis, have been charged in the capital murder of Jamea Jonae Harris on January 15 in Tuscaloosa near campus at the University of Alabama.

“The Court, having heard the evidence in a Preliminary Hearing, finds sufficient evidence was presented to establish probable cause that the offense charged was committed by the Defendant,” a statement from Jannick read. “This matter is bound over to the Grand Jury.”

Miller is about to make more money off defamation of character and libel lawsuits than he will in his rookie contract.

There’s some folks about to get taken to the cleaners.

I am very sad for everyone involved in this. I pray for the young women killed. We know a lot more now than we did when this started. Major decisions concerning the overall basketball program need to be made. Somebody being shot and killed where college students and friends are gathering is horrible. Hopefully something can be done to help prevent this kind of violence. The University of Alabama needs to officially address this problem and take steps to reduce the violence. I know we don't live in a prefect world but this cannot be ignored.

No he isn't. He's by every definition a public figure, meaning NYT v Sullivan applies. Unlike some nations like the UK, the bar for a public figure to win a suit is almost unattainable.

I sorry but this sounds shallow. What exactly would you like the University to do? In no way is the university responsible for this. This is all on Miles and his buddy. They’re obviously POS who have no value for human life and are about to get what they have coming to them. This wasn’t accidental or a fight that got out of control. Those two just fired rounds into a car and didn’t give a shite who was hit. Yes Miles may not have fired the gun but he gave it to his friend knowing what his plan was.

Someone not enrolled in UA attacked another person not enrolled at UA on a city street.

Even if they were all students, these are grown adults. The time for them to learn and understand that using lethal force isn't the way to address a simple disagreement over a girl's phone number was over AT LEAST a decade ago.

Exactly what do you think Alabama or any other university can do to address and prevent this type of violence? It's no different than what happens in every US city virtually every night of the week, just this time college basketball players happened to be involved.

I'm just glad none of the people posting on the rant are lawyers or judges or we'd be fricked.

If Darius Miles hadn't made a statement as to who gave Michael Davis the gun that night, would he be free? That's why if you're not a career criminal it's very important to have an attorney present when making statements.
