Glad for you making it in. Despite some sentiment to the contrary you do deserve it. You beat us at our house and had a very tough schedule. I've said it before and I will continue to defend it, "Conference Championship game results should not matter." If everyone played in one I would feel different, but you can't penalize a team for playing an extra game when everyone isn't playing an extra game. Hope you guys heal up and we meet again in the CG as God intended.

Me either, but the emoji was the most accurate to express the sentiment.

Disregard the babies who live to mash the downvote button. Some real sensitive children in here

Thanks, Georgia put a beat down no other way to describe it.
Maybe the guys change their approach after this

Roll Tide dawg. I met some cool Georgia fans this weekend, 5 straight SEC championship game appearances is very impressive.

I guess you're right.
If the game de-incentivizes these Conference Champ games, then these games will no longer be played. If that happens, the game generates less money. The people who manage college football don't want that to happen.
So it makes sense to NOT penalize a team that makes it to their Conference Championship Game and loses.
It makes even more sense to play it that way out of a sense of fairness, because some teams refuse to join a Conference and so they never have to play a Conference Championship Game.
Makes even MORE sense when we consider that Conference teams not good enough to make the Conference Championship Game are a lock for the Playoffs and can sit home and rest while the CCG loser gets beaten up and kicked out of the Playoffs.
The Committee balanced it out and made the most sensible decision.

Thanks bro but I'd rather not meet UGA again.

Nothing but respect for the Georgia Bulldogs and Kirby. Good luck to y’all!

We had a cobbled together O line first game. Think you guys had pretty much the same last night. Who knows what happens next game, but injuries matter a great deal.
