Would love to have Bryce at full speed and Harrell to take the top off the defense finally.

Hate being a downer, but we’re expecting a lot out of Bryce playing with an injured throwing arm. This game feels like the 2019 LSU game except in hostile territory.

He doesn't need to throw 60 yard bombs all day.

We just needed Tua to not fumble in the redzone in 2019 also. Point is if Bama can’t throw deep, the box will be stacked all game regardless of who is qb. Quick slants and screens only do so much.

To be honest, their secondary would likely allow Bryce to have success without the deep ball. Earle, Bond, and Prentice will feast if we get them space. I cannot stress how poorly they tackle in the open field

Watched the UF highlights yesterday. Short pass to the Florida TE near the sideline on the 20. Five different UT defenders tried to tackle the guy on the way to a TD and couldn't. He didn't make any special moves or anything. Just shrugged them off and went into the endzone. It was absolutely pathetic tackling.

If he can't throw effectively, he won't be out there. If he plays, it's because he's ready.

Im seeing here he’s good to go. It seems everywhere else it’s a huge question mark. My nerves for this game are probably as bad as they’ve ever been. I want us to send the vollies back to the Stone Age.

Watch the first half of the Pitt game when Slovis was playing. From guys being open in the intermediate passing game to tackling, they look like a Big 12 defense

2019 LSU >>>> 2022 Tennessee imo.

True, but the 2019 Bama offense prior to Tua’s injuries was much better than the 2022 Bama offense, and we had Sark.

I hope so. Gibbs is another that will break ankles in open space on some screens or swing passes.

Passes in the flats and 5 yard dumps will be golden in my opinion. That will force them up and then Bryce can feast of the intermediate passes.

I just don't want to get in a shootout but our secondary worries me

I am not concerned whatsoever about our secondary. Zero
