So he's given no reasons.

He would be the best one to ask this question to.

His reputation was that of an excellent recruiter especially in FL.

I mean I think it's possible BoB is just good and doesn't produce an offense as advanced and seemingly perfect as Sark or even Kiffin.

I'm not sure how anyone could think he'd be a disaster who would cost us 3 games. That seems like a massive emotional reaction.

But one of the mods over there, he's also the former managing editor, was predicting a minimum of three losses next season if BoB is the offensive coordinator. He said he's got 3,000 words prepared on why it's a terrible idea.

That seems pretty drastic to me. I'd say that guy is looking for some clicks

If he does post his manifesto I'm coming to you for cliffs, SOG. If he's any kind of editor he'll know 3,000 words on this subject is probably not a good idea.

Yeah I think it was Erik. I always wonder about the crossover from RBR to here. It's always interesting to wonder if someone posting here is posting under a different screen name over there.

That's the word. He pulled some 4 stars when he was at auburn. I'm sure with the Saban and Bama shadow behind him, he'll be just fine on the recruiting trail.

Where did the Boulware name come from? Did someone reputable mention his name in connection with Bama?

He could just as easily be off-field staff.

He is and he could be an option, but apparently he has a house in Tuscaloosa so him being in town isn't really that out of the ordinary this time of year.

That is true. Or he might be up for a player personnel type roll. That is what he did for the Eagles, and what he did for us before taking an on the field job. Who knows at this point other than Saban will make the best pick.

Now back to the Boulware guy. What is his recruiting background looking like? I am intrigued by him. Can he recruit Texas?

He's from DFW and played at Texas, so I have to imagine he'd be a Texas recruiter.

His recruiting history looks pretty meh.

I defer to Carlton on both OU/Texas stuff and recruiting running backs.

If he gets Carlton's seal of approval, and by that I mean CAMAR WHEATON'S seal of approval, sign me up
