I wonder if Tosh would be willing to come back to Alabama, after he has been humbled though.

He wants to be a Co-DC. I don't think Saban will try that experiment again.

After that failed experiement nobody will give him what he wants. He has to prove he can do it. So he would have to start over.

I so hope they hire Lupoi. These coaches, with Texas boosters, desperate fans and Sark in charge. I really am super excited cause I can not wait to see if Texas gets sloppy enough to get the death penalty .

Well technically they would probably give Texas a minor scholarship reduction and UTEP the death penalty but you get what I'm saying.

Another day, another TideSaint endorsement for Glenn Schumann. Dude is an Alabama alum, former GA and by all accounts lives and breathes football.

His salary at Georgia is $600K. We can increase that dramatically.

He's also a fantastic recruiter. During his tenure at UGA he has landed nine 5-stars and twenty-four 4-stars. Schumann's All-Time Commits

Bring. Him. Home.

It shouldn't be that hard to convince him to join the staff.

Let Pete ride off into the sunset with Sark and get Schumann to man the defense for the next 3-4 years.

Simple.

So sell me on why Schumann would be a better hire than Lanning? From what I can tell, Lanning is the "primary" DC at UGA. Is it because Schumann is a better recruiter? I don't really know a whole lot about either TBH.

If ya'll want him, Saban is going to have to act on it immediately.

Schumann is an ILB coach. As you know, we've been lacking in development there for a while. He's turned 3-star Monty Rice into a potential 1st round pick.

I won't lie, this is probably the main reason I like him. Dude can flat out get it on the trail.

Check out these recruiter rankings for the Class of 2021:

11. Glenn Schumann
84. Pete Golding
122. Dan Lanning
225. Scott Cochran

I'd bet money Lupoi is at the top of Mario's list.

Clay Helton has started locking down the high profile California recruits for USC again. Mario needs a headhunter to combat that.

Plus Tosh has spent a lot of time in the west coast. Seems like a good fit
