Thornton has some nice film. Don't know he is rated so low.

He weighs like 185 pounds.

Yeah, but if they can get him up to 240 without sacrificing a lot of athleticism he could be a monster. He's raw, but you can see the speed to power conversion and first step get off. I'm not a huge fan of words like if, but, could, might, etc. when it comes to high school recruits though. If they aren't guys you are 100% positive will be able to contribute by year 2 at the latest you should wait to sign them when they hit the portal.

Byrne reportedly added new contract data for DeBoer at the last minute to meeting agenda for other coaching raises.
Reportedly ups DeBoer's income per year by $2M and ups the contract buyout.

Anything to read in Grubb, Gillespie, and Roach not getting raises?

What the absolute frick did Roach and that special teams coach do to deserve an extension.

I am reading the no extension for Grubb as he’s outtie 3000 after 2026

Doesn't mean he's leaving.

He is still being paid by Seattle through February '27, might explain him

I’m surprised there isn’t some stronger reactions to this extension news.

Doing a rewatch of Peaky Blinders before watching the Immortal Man.
Alfie's scene in Season 2 where he tells Ollie to take off his apron and go sit in the corner is still one of my favorites.

I think the general feeling is it’s good to have him locked in but we really hope to see a leap.
It’s hard to be down on the extension because, on paper, it’s been a successful 2 years all things considered. If you’d told me when DeBoer was hired that we’d make the conference title game, be 5-1 against rivals. 2 wins against Georgia. A playoff win and a Rose Bowl appearance I’d have been like “hell yea let’s extend him”
There’s just been some real concerning moments lumped in there that gives everyone mild pause so I think the reaction is mostly like a cautious and reserved optimism

Roach and Ballou are both stealing money vs performance from both

concerning moments
For me the one that stands out the most was the season opener against FSU. I really can't remember seeing any upper echelon team come out that flat & unprepared week 1. That game was a way more embarrassing loss than the Rose Bowl in my opinion.
