Agreed on Crowell. Good size at 210 right now, has good vision, speed, not at all afraid of contact and has a little shiftiness in him. Assuming he can learn pass protection, it's going to be really hard keeping off the field next year.

Haynes was generally afraid of contact. He spent waaaaaay too much time dancing instead of just plowing ahead. 1-2 yard gain is way better than no gain or getting tackled for a loss.

The only run I recall that made me think he was special was when he ran over the safety for Mizzou. That run was what we're looking for.

1st day on pads for the RB from Jackson should be

send him down to the DL group foe 30 minutes of bull in the ring with each of them. Then a Gatorade break then another 30 minutes.

That should get his attention and improve his pass pro as well. If he ask the staff to send him for another session the following day, then we're good.

LOL at “ bull in the ring”. Been awhile since I heard that term.

We did that one - but the one I hated most was the Hamburger drill

If Titan Davis released from LOI, do we get him? We were second on for him

I think in the end his decision was NIL based. We did finish second, so have to think we'd be the leader in the clubhouse if he left.

Tony Mitchell is going to reenter the NCAA transfer portal.

Mitchell, who transferred from Alabama following the 2023 season, spent the 2025 campaign back in the SEC at Mississippi State. He enjoyed a career-year in his lone season in Starkville. The safety attended East Mississippi Community College during the 2024 season.

I doubt we go back after him had a decent season this year.

Highlights

He's a Class of 2026 guy that plays JUCO ball at Itawamba CC in Mississippi.

Kinda throws cold piss on the DeBoer to Michigan rumors.

Looks like we hit on every instate prospect. They balling out in the all star game. Crowell had a long touchdown called back and one called him down at the one but he got in. Broke tackles on both runs.
