It's fine. He's a stud and extreme team player

Best of luck to him.

Saraland sophomore WR Ryan Williams named Gatorade Player of the Year

Wish he could reclassify to 2024. That kid could suit up for us next year. It's wild he'll have to wait two. This is some Reggie Bush/Noel Devine type stuff. The coach at Mountain Brook said Williams is the best player he's seen in the state- or at least top 3 with Chad Jackson and George Pickens.

He clearly never coached against Foley when Julio was there, but that's beside the point. He might've been the top receiver in the 2023 class and he's just a sophomore. This is a guy that will be in contention for top overall player in the country as a senior.

Always a little nervous about guys that commit so early though. His dad is a former barn player too, you know reverend Hugh will pull out all the tricks on him

No kidding. I just watched his highlights. Wow - this kid is unreal; just completely dominant. He would be one of the best WRs on our roster right now.

What's the deal with their qb? Also a sophomore who put up a pretty gaudy line and looks like Auburn and Ole Miss have already offered. Are we interested?

Recruiting Rundown: First Day Starters (SI)

With the majority of this past season's starters gone, which recruit will most likely get the nod straight out of high school.

I would have to guess Caleb for my guess! Maybe Proctor as well.

Others will probably earn playing time but to be a true starter I’m not sure

Justice Haynes just fumbled in the AA Game.

Yhonzae Pierre recovered it.

Haynes just fumbled in the All-American game. Hope this isn't a trend with the new RBs

Whatever ball they’re using has to slick people can’t catch it and are having trouble picking them up off the ground too

Keon Keeley was a menace all week and during the AA game, some think he has an outside shot at being the #1 ranked recruit at the final rankings.

Guy has to be special to overshadow Yhonzae Pierre's performance, who had a great week as well.

I remember a time where Bama struggled for elite edge rushers, and I don't miss it at all

Yeah. I would love if we could find a Q Williams/ D Payne type interior rusher to pair with it. Makes it a lot tougher to step up or take off

James Smith is that guy. Don't overlook Edric Hill, either. He's underrated as an interior d lineman.

Funny thing is, Q was a middle of the pack recruit in his class and didn’t play as a freshman. We’re pretty quick to write guys off that don’t light the world on fire year one.

Q was horribly evaluated by some of the recruiting services. Anybody who saw his highlights should have seen that he was, at minimum, a high 4* with elite upside.
