I don't see many tight ends leaping clean over defenders on a full sprint downfield. You think that play was just a fluke or something?

Preston Dial did it on the first drive in the second half against MSU in the 2011 Orange Bowl.

I'd love for him to be Dial tbh.

Seems skill players are looking to hurdle more often.

I'd prefer to see the 240lb plus guys lower their shoulder at full tilt and make the defenders remember that feeling on subsequent plays.

Dippre is 6'5, 245, and pretty fast and athletic for a TE of his size. Its ok to think that he is good addition to the team.

He is a good addition and will start. I think he wil be so much better than Latu was as well. Hated seeing Latu miss blocks and just stand there.

Man Downs looks so good at practice. He looks like a natural. Looks more physically ready than any DB we have on the team.

Latu

Latu was fairly clutch at times.

I always liked his effort

If what you are saying is true why do yall onky give the OC and DC shite? Why not say Saban since they are "allowing it to happen". He ultimately makes the final call on whats what.

He can’t be everywhere at once. I’m sure he’s not coaching up special teamers on rudimentary shite. I think this year above many others we had poor positional and situational coaching.

It is on Saban to make sure he is bringing in the right people to teach those things, and I think that will be rectified. He’s been a lot more right than he’s been wrong in delegating it out. Last year was just more wrong in those spots than normal.

I don’t believe that for one sec. You can’t get where he is today without knowing EXACTLY what everyone is doing all the time. Plus his controlling personality just wouldn’t allow that type of oversight.

Is this the Debbie downer board? We are in the GOAT’s hands. Great pickup today!

Ok…so you think he called the 2020 offense and is teaching route trees? Or do you think that like every single coach, especially the older ones, that he knows what his expertise is and delegates responsibilities to others that he trust to do a good job?

Great coaches are like great CEO’s at a company. Yes they are smart and yes they can probably do just about every job in the organization. But what makes them great is being able to see those traits or other great traits in people they bring aboard. In practice there are multiple drills and multiple phases of the game being practiced at once. I’m sure he checks in on all of them. But he wouldn’t be watching every punt return telling them not to touch the ball

I'm not sure, they do already have commits from 3 of the best instate. I think it's not as good of a cycle talent wise, as far as elite talent. Wouldn't be shocked if it's a small instate class.

I've heard conflicting stuff about Demarcus Riddick, the LB committed to UGA. I've heard Bama will be in a good spot if they offer, but have also heard that he grew up a Bulldogs fan.

Wild to think that Ronnie Royal went from being "the next big recruit" his freshman year to just really another dude. Many believe he's not even the best RB in the state, J'Marion Burnette is.

We will see lot of 2 TE Sets often. We'll see some rotations... More flexibility in how they use TE. Make it hard for defense to figure out if we're going to run/pass, etc. We can Slip TE out a lot, similar to Georgia.

I’m quoting this again because I would like an answer. Panther, how do you know this for certainty, when we aren’t even sure who the OC will be???

Had a brain bleed and missed the semifinals and stood with me on the sideline for the state championship game.

It’s basically a side effect of a concussion. I had it but on the back of my brain, couldn’t lay down more than 60 degrees (literally slept sitting up) or I’d get splitting pain.

Doctor said it was a brain bleed and waved it off the next day like it was nothing, which was confusing as all hell
