I’m going to guess he starts at one of the guard spots
I think he'll compete for one of the starting OL spots, whether it's OG or OT. I think he could compete for OT just as easily.
A 6'8" guard? You'ld think he would be more natural at tackle, with that much reach. Depends on his footwork and speed?

This was after Proctor flipped.

I’m assuming Russaw and Smith

Oh, his end game is LT for us. It's just where does he play in his first couple of years. I mean, Evan Neal started at OG for us before he moved to OT.

Alabama RB commit Richard Young (@richardyoung239) spoke confidently about Keon Keeley and Kadyn Proctor before they selected the #Tide.
Sounds like Young has his sights set on two in-state targets set to sign tomorrow.

Neal was a 6'7" guard his freshman year.

He may very well come in and compete for one of those tackle spots!

Arkansas fans seem pretty reserved to the fact that Luke Hasz will sign with Alabama tomorrow.

I guess it'll come down to whether the staff feels better about Pritchett at OT, or Ferguson/Roberts at OG. Proctor will definitely compete with one of the spots, whether it's at OT or OG.

Hard to tell. Sanders son hasn't really played against top notch competition in High School or College.

He reach is a little short, relative to his height, from what I was reading a while back. More of a run blocking specialist as well. I think we see him at RT honestly.

True, but the need at tackle then wasn't as big as it looks like it will be for next year. Hopefully, one of the new guys comes through for us at tackle next year.
ETA: Watched his highlights. He looks strong and aggressive, but they'll need to break him of a few habits that will get him penalized at the next level. He loved to pin the defenders on the ground to keep them from getting up, that will be called for holding in college. He also slung the defenders down a lot, which will also get called as holding sometimes. He looks like he's talented, and gives good effort, excited to see him in Crimson.

Are we concerned about any other decommits outside of Tony Mitchell?

Merry Flipmas to you. Hopefully we won't have any visits from the Flipmas Grinch stealing any of our commits. I saw where Coach Prime was trying to poach Malik Benson.

Those competing until the last hour for a few more NIL $$ are not the ones committed to sticking it out to earn playing time.
They'll be in the portal.
Team culture and work ethic will become as valued as high end talent in championship teams.

Malik is supposedly already enrolled and practicing.

Don't NFL players try to get the best deals for themselves before they sign with a team?
Don't hate on a kid that's trying to get life changing money for himself and his family.
Most college players will never make it in the NFL. Recruits can get some money now through NIL that betters themselves and helps pays their families bills and meets needs.
I will never hate on someone that is trying to better themselves.

The problem is to many of them are not being smart and getting ill advised. They are looking at the short term not long term. So all these things you are mentioning will not help them once they leave college and never play again and are hoping to find a job because they have no NIL money left.
