I'm sure Russaw will come to Tuscaloosa but I'm a bit iffy on Smith
Russaw staying and saying that he's tired of the recruiting process is definitely good news for us though. That crystal ball for him should stay, almost no doubt he goes anywhere but Bama

Does anyone have any hard, heavily reliable info on Russaw and especially on Smith?

We'll find out what they both intend to do on Wednesday.

No, and anyone that claims to is lying. Watts said yesterday though he feels confident if they were picking right now

According to BOL and Iowa mods, Proctor is unlikely to sign with Iowa on Wednesday. Alabama appears to lead, with Oregon close behind.

Pulido decommitted just now, maybe that’s a sign we are getting Proctor?

Bone makes it sound like Pulido just didn't want to leave the west coast.

2 of the Iowa 247 insiders have now CB'd Proctor to Bama with 8 confidence...

Tim Watts & Steve Wiltfong at 247 and Rodney Orr at Tider Insider have all said it is now trending Bama's way and looks to be in the lead for him. Even David Eickholt of Iowa's 247 site said "I would bet on Proctor signing with Bama on Wednesday".
Bama is definitely leading as of tonight. Man if Saban pulls him that is HUGE. He'll compete for a starting OT spot the day he hits campus.

Sure enough, he's signing with Arizona Wednesday.

I’m thinking Proctor just took his spot. Let’s hope.

N'all Bone said this his been a possibility for weeks. Wants to stay on the west coast. Wish he was staying but not a big deal. Proctor is total separate there is plenty of room in the class. The good news is several Iowa mods have flipped their predictions to Bama with high confidence and Bone put in an RPM to Bama as well. Sounds like he probably flipped this weekend and we just have to wait for it to go public unless of course recruiting becomes fluid.

Bone said Paudilo had nothing to do with Proctor, that he had let the staff know a few weeks ago, but had asked them to keep it quiet and they honored his wishes.

Wiltfong with the Bama pick in now as well.

Smith has been known to take plays off from time to time.
Might be true but in my experience sometimes big dudes in HS have never had any actual conditioning like they will get in college and are getting doubled or tripled nearly every play. You're gonna get gassed. And IDK if he plays both ways or not but that would make it even worse.

Recruiting Rumor Mill: Plans crystallizing as National Signing Day nears

2025 OT Nicolai Brooks
Brooks was so ecstatic about a recent offer from Alabama that “words cannot express how happy I am,” as he grew up watching the Crimson Tide and now he has an offer to play in Tuscaloosa. Alabama immediately jumps way up the list for the massive 2025 offensive lineman from Alpharetta (Ga.) St. Francis along with Georgia and Penn State standing out early.

2025 OLB Joseph Phillips
The 2024 linebacker from Tuskegee (Ala.) Booker T. Washington landed one of his latest offers from Alabama and while it was not a dream school growing up it’s definitely a “major” offer for the in-state prospect to consider early on. Things are happening fast as Phillips is getting more attention nationally but so far the Crimson Tide, Auburn, Georgia, Tennessee and Penn State have piqued his interest.

Kadyn Proctor
The five-star offensive lineman took an official visit to Alabama over the weekend and he’s also been to Oregon recently but the word is that Proctor has already expressed to people that he still plans to sign with the Hawkeyes on Wednesday. Could something change between now and then? Could the Alabama visit have completely changed things? Sure. But Iowa has to like its position right now even after those two major visits.

Even the Iowa pay board mods are saying to expect him to sign with us on Wednesday, but Rivals still holds firm that he's sticking with Iowa. Never change Rivals.
