What are our chances to flip Derek Meadows now?

I also want to laugh at the corndogs, but Michigan is obviously trying to speed run being the biggest piece of shite program in the history of the sport right now so I'm sure these huge bags are being offered to plenty of our guys too.

Haywood is apparently square in their sights

The whole Stallions coaching Underwood thing is fricking hilarious. That guy is unhinged and obviously knows he’s never going to be punished.

You might want to go look at how much Portnoy is worth and he would personally drop a bag just to troll other fanbases

They’re absolutely offering stupid money to some of our guys. Haywood in particular. He’s actually considering signing with them having never even visited.

Other than Haywood are there any other commits Alabama is realistically in danger of losing? I've heard Ohio St. has still got Dubose in their sights but they don't feel super confident as of now.

Getting a commitment from a recruit means almost nothing anymore. You still have to get them to sign, enroll, practice through spring, and re-recruit them to stay out of the spring portal just to get them to fall camp. And then hopefully they don't declare their own redshirt 3 games into the season and announce their intent to transfer.

Well hopefully Alabama is watching this crap show and calling everyone and getting money together. This is why I hated Nail all along. Yes Bama dominated recruiting but that was because of Nick Saban and playing for NC every year and NFL players drafted. The southern states cannot complete with Notthern school money.

This is why I like the idea of being willing to take care of our guys financially but declining to get into bidding wars. It's a reasonable balance between the Dabo method and the Miami/Aggy/Texas/OSU method. I hate that this is what CFB has become though. The portal moreso than NIL. The arguments in favor of no penalty transfers just never rang true for me. Sure regular students can transfer whenever they want to any school that will accept them, but how often does a non-athlete end up attending 4 schools in 5 years? That's a thing that happens almost exclusively with football and men's basketball players.

You slow or something?

I think Portnoy is a giant assbag but that doesn’t dissuade from the fact that he’s openly stated how he’s willing to pay millions to ensure Michigan gets top level talent yearly. And he can do that on the company NIL dime.

Take a seat old man

Portnoy said months ago he’d pay millions for a QB and he delivered the top QB in the class.

Alabama and SEC fans need to see he’s a problem.

It was Larry Ellison, according to the Michigan NIL collective

So i'll be blunt, Haywood is 10000000% gone if that's true

Every current Michigan recruit just saw them offer a QB at least 10.5 million dollars. If I'm other schools I'm immediately contacting those recruits that had me in their top schools and offering them just a bit more than Michigan is currently promising. Might get them to consider flipping but at worst you send them back to Michigan with their hands out demanding more than they're currently getting.

Other schools need to band together and force Michigan into a bidding war to keep the rest of their class together. If they can afford 10+M for one player, I bet they can afford to pay the rest of the class a little more too.
