A top instate recruit that got Al.com a lot of clicks for his recruitment flips and flops. I'd say there is 0% chance they aren't running a story if it were true that he was arrested and now kicked of his team.
Nothing prohibits publishing names of minors in a "newsworthy" story so long as the info was legally obtained and true... except for individual media outlet journalistic standards and ethics, which Al.com lacks.

Correct. They absolutely hate Alabama sports. Anyone who employs a POS like Joseph Goodman would absolutely try to bury the truth.

But, to my point, it's not a story they'd miss, even if remotely true. If so, I'd be very surprised.

I used to post on their articles when they allowed comments before finding this board. It was basically a forum. A lot of them were usually calling out bullshite click bait articles with little to no substance other than an outside link to another site. Goodman always popped up to try and defend why his stuff wasn't total garbage, only to get roasted and abandon ship.
That site is pretty useless now.

My sauces have indicated to me that he was arrested, kicked off the team, and no longer enrolled at Saraland. This same sauce says this isn’t the type kid you want at your program. This isn’t his first run in with trouble but it was the first time the admin at Saraland couldn’t cover it up.

To be fair, if I went to the Auburn board and said that Goodman is an integrity devoid hipster chode whose continued employment as a “journalist” is solely based off halving the truth and doubling the lies in order to rile up the major fanbases in this State, and someone who would be nothing but a blogger if AL.com didn’t exist, most would agree.

It's not even bias. It's writing sensationalist headlines just to get people to click on the link and engage in an argument that literally no one was having before he wrote it. That's his only function for al.com, and they don't even try to hide it.

Goodman is an actual Auburn fan. I guess that you don’t realize that. His dad is a huge Auburn supporter. They hate Alabama athletics. He has no business working for a media outlet in the state. It’s like Barrett Sallee working for CBS Sports.

I don’t know his background at all. The only info I’m relying on is that my close Auburn friends all think he’s an a-hole. Best I can tell, he’s a UAB fly buzzing around the arse of relevant programs
