That's the size of the class based on that BOL projection I believe. We don't have the cap this year so that should be fine.

31 projected December signings. 31/85 = 36.5% roster turnover. Seems high at a glance, but Bama is geared for players to graduate in 3 years. So, a 33% avg yearly roster turnover is pretty much "normal" for Bama.

On3's Director of Recruiting @ChadSimmons_ has placed an expert prediction for Alabama to land 5-star EDGE Keon Keeley??

From the AU board:

Clemente posted his new confidential so here's a breakdown:
5* Bama commit Tony Mitchell will take his fifth overall visit and 2nd OV this weekend. It comes after a in home with ZE and Freeze. Clemente isn't putting in a CB for a flip but would add him to our class in a mock.

He is apparently on campus after Andrew Bone said he canceled the visit to Auburn. He loves Zac Etheridge but I still don’t see a flip. That’s a damned tough pull.
ETA: Andrew Bone is now stating Alabama was unaware that Tony Mitchell went on this visit, but that he is indeed in Auburn.

In addition to Alabama being unaware of the visit, Bone reported that Mitchell actively told people on the Alabama side he would not be going to Auburn this weekend.
Heck of a talent. Texas AtM still seems like the more likely school to flip him. But you have to ask whether having a kid that’s already actively deceiving our staff is the right move.

Yep, the TAMU NIL potential makes them a threat with anyone.

He's been flirting with other programs since committing to Bama. Doesn't sound like someone who's committed to me.

Hopefully. I’m still skeptical of any recruiting after Bryan Harsin ran everything into the ground.

Yes he is according to several sources.
Edit: Bone now says 7pm Central, Tony told him he is not in Awbarn.
Updates at 10. Hahaha

Let him go to barn and toil in 6-6 seasons. Hate to be negative but he’s not committed!

A complete fricking homer selling subscriptions. Pretty sure he’s the one who was saying Hurley was going to flip to Auburn, and has had a lot of confidence in recruits that never materialized
And Tony Mitchell’s recruitment is playing out like almost everyone thought. Has his hand out and will be a roller coaster

Or we could just let a 17 year old kid go through the entire process. Don’t call him “not committed” just because he’s going on visits. If I would’ve been talented enough to be recruited in high school I would’ve taken the Bama offer pretty quickly. I would’ve had no interest in going anywhere else but I would’ve taken all 5 OVs so my parents and myself could’ve been wined and dined 5 times.

He's not going on visits to get wined and dined though. He's going on visits looking for money. That's why a lot of people don't consider him really committed. He's just reserving his spot in case that big NIL offer doesn't materialize.
