Like I said before we have to get used to this new reality.
Our recruiting expectations will have to change without Saban.
Deboer will do well but it might be impossible to reach Saban standards. Losing in-state 5-stars we want, is never going to sit well with our fans.

Even a billionaire's willingness to burn cash is not infinite. Especially, if the expected effect doesn't take place on the field. They can account for it in creative ways - like advertising/marketing for their business - but understand that no matter what they call it...it's just burning cash so their Favorite Team can win trophies.
Aggy was throwing around cash fast and loose at first but are taking a much more measured approach now. It only makes sense to spend the kind of cash Bux Boosters are on the roster if you think buying the best 85 in football can push your underachieving coach over the top. Aggy thought that with Fisher but have pulled back a bit. Bux Boosters will do the same if Day falters.

I'm conflicted on what would be the most amusing possibility. Sayin watching BoB leave for another job after he transferred there, or OSU having to endure BoB as an OC? Probably the latter, since Sayin likely just went there for the money, not for BoB.

I think people did a good job of convincing Sayin's camp that Alex Mack is the next one up and convinced him that he would sit for 2 years here. I'm not sure he transferred just for the money, though I'm sure it had a lot to do with him picking OSU.
