I was coming here to talk about that… sounds like we dodged an insane bullet there!! Maybe Saban’s structure would’ve helped keep him in line but it really seems like the dude is an absolute cancer in the locker room.

There is some belief that Perkins is waiting to flip until early signing day. There is a huge about of pressure in Miss to stay home and play for one of the home teams and it's been indicated he doesn't want to deal with months of that.

Reading the tea leaves it looks more like one of those deals where we have been involved for a long time but just weren't given much credit for whatever reason. He has visited Tuscaloosa like 3 or 4 times on his own dime.
