5-star 2025 OT Micah Debose, a Mobile native, has de-committed from Georgia.

The Bama Standard Network is reporting that Evan Stewart is a lock for Alabama and that it's a done deal but On3 is not so sure and they're saying it's between Oregon, FSU a Ole Miss.

I have no idea what the Bama Standard Network is, but let’s run with that and get back on our WE GETTING EVERYBODY grind.

I really hope we get him. Hate it when it doesn't work out with blue chip lineman from in state.

He visited fAU unofficially 3 times between 10/21 and 11/25. Doesn't look like he's visited Bama yet.

Most said the same about Seth too.

DeBose has been a regular in Tuscaloosa since he committed to Georgia.

Those are a bit different situations. When Seth was brought in he wasn’t one of our heralded recruits. When he started to get pt a few years ago I remember thinking “wtf…how???” but then he actually did looked really good. He has regressed a bit in blocking(he’s still good at blocking especially on combos and getting off and to the next level. Def a step back though)and I wonder if it has to do with his terrible snapping.

Both the Brockmeyers were supposed to turn into guys for us. Almost the anti Seth

DeBose

Just keep him away from secretaries, desks, and I don’t want to see him clapping on the sideline after turnovers

While James Brockermeyer was more highly rated than Seth McLaughlin, he was never seen as someone that would “turn into guys for us”. He was an afterthought with his five star brother. Most even wondered why Alabama took him.

Its ridiculous to me when people right off offensive linemen. They take longer to develop.

285 lbs is not very big for an OL that has been on campus for 3 yrs.

He was a 4 star. This wasn’t a Love brothers situation. They were both SEC capable linemen.

I hope he turns into a top 10 pick for us.

How would they know that? They probably said that to drive up ratings on their You Tube channel.

Man, how is 247 going to publish that quote and then have his recruiting profile show this?

We gotta step the NIL game up fellas. Barners and Freeze are just heaving ungodly amounts of money at these kids…. I don’t know if it’s sustainable but it sucks for us in the short term

What a joke… my guess is that AU threw some YellaWood cash at him to try and entice Ryan Williams to come play with his teammate. They are trying to get every edge they can for Williams
