Burton is gone after the CFP. Bond is the only receiver left with a high level of productivity. If Ryan Williams is day 1 like Julio Jones then fantastic. Alabama still could probably use another certain commodity at WR. I like Hale and Prentice but I'm low on Benson. Alabama has a bit of a problem with body type and skill duplication at WR. Several 5'11'' <200lb guys that are interior receivers primarily if not exclusively...and Bond is the best of that bunch.
I guess what I'm saying is that Alabama really needs two primarily outside receivers who can start next year. I'm writing Benson off...he's just not an immediate impact guy you expect out of JUCO. Hale might be one of those outside guys. Prentice is almost certainly not but still a good rotation player. The more the staff can let Bond continue to flourish in the slot, the better. He has played some outside but his big plays come when he's interior.

I have a feeling after the Playoffs we’ll see some names in the portal that we aren’t gonna like.

I think Hale might stick around because he could win X next year with a good offseason.
Prentice is a pure slot receiver with the best returning receiver also being a primarily slot receiver. Bond eats into his snaps and prevents him from having a lot of stats. I see him strongly considering his options after the season. He's from Alabama, so he may just rather be a rotational player at Alabama than a starter somewhere else. I don't see the staff pushing him out.
Law probably really needs to play tailback somewhere that plays smaller backs. I think it is highly likely he's gone and ends up being very productive wherever he goes.

Just as a reminder, we getting everybody!
Regardless of what happens tomorrow, I will be sunshine pumping like crazy as I am so pumped about the SEC title nothing can make me feel bad. Unfortunately I have a long drive to tomorrow but any chance I get to post be aware I will be irrationally positive and extra excited. Have a great night and Roll Tide!

I think Prentice would transfer, and Law would be a priority keep due to his versatility. I think between Bond, Law, Hale, potentially Stewart, and potentially Williams… you could have an incredibly solid 5 WR rotation.
I’d like to keep Prentice, but I think he and Benson are the likely candidates to explore other options.

I’m not against adding Evan Stewart to clarify. Dude is a stud…all I’m saying is that there’s more to it than just simply adding best available player. You have to always consider how these things impact other players on your roster and recruits. It’s part of managing a CFB roster.
I can guarantee if Evan Stewart wants in that Nick will 100% have a conversation with Ryan Williams and his family before pulling the trigger.

I heard that Perry was a lock to flip to Bama til Stewart entered the portal, now we’ve told Perry we don’t have room for him and he’s stuck at Auburn. I feel bad for him but it’s his own fault for waiting so long.

We’d be fools not to take Stewart over fear of losing Prentice or Law. As long as we don’t lose Willliams or Bond I’m down to add Stewart.

What about Preston and Henderson?
Do they see the field or move on.

There is 0 chance we told a national top 50 kid at Foley high school at any position to kick rocks.

There was some chatter Monday night that the East Texas 4-star athlete could be thinking about Alabama once again. According to a pair of sources Tuesday morning, the Longhorns felt good about where they sit. That chatter continued into Tuesday, and into the night. As of 6 a.m. Wednesday, there is more info coming in that Alabama is trending. Hampton’s recruitment has been a roller coaster for sure with multiple commits and de-commitments. My pick is on a flip to Alabama, as of this morning.

No way we tell Perry there is no room. As someone else mentioned especially an instate kid.
If Stewart wanted in you take him to. If Williams really wanted to compete why would he care about both Perry and Stewart coming in as well. Easy sell for Saban just like in 2017 when we signed Jeudy, Smith, and Ruggs.
The best thing that happened for Alabama and nightmare scenario for other teams competing for us is Alabama just won the SEC with most experts predicting Alabama to win it all. The timing is not going to go well for other teams.

As of about 10min ago, Wiltfong said he expects Houston to stick with anOSU.
ETA: Of course like 5min later he says there are sources within the anOSU program that believe he'll flip to Bama.
Gotta love ESD!

BOL was saying the same thing last night.
But Chad Simmons is saying it’s not over as of 15 minutes ago.
Just going to be along for the ride today.
