Crazy how fast Early Signing Period completely changed recruiting. All 5 stars across the major services are already committed and only about 5-6% of blue chip recruits are uncommitted prior to the ESP at the moment, but the majority will probably put pen to paper next week. There will still be flips and students who won't sign in the early period but now it is almost strictly waiting for the commitment letters to come in. I guess maybe the All American games can get back to just being football games again instead of announcement shows, although I guess some are keeping their announcement secret until the game, if they can . I wonder if those will stay popular with so many of the kids getting on campus early for bowl practice and the announcements not being a big deal anymore. Add the transfer portal and things just transformed in just a 5 to 6 year window. Damn signing day use to be so much fun, I am going to miss those days .

Riley from Tuscaloosa is probably the best back remaining out of the three back we are looking at . He’s actually really good . But Baugh is way better than Hill . His highlights blow Hill away . Hopefully we are looking to get either one of Baugh or Riley and pass on Hill . Early signing is almost here .

You thinking him wanting 300k and Mathieu treatment on ST/Offense is legit or just spin . Either way it is kind of funny. 300k has to be worth it to someone affiliated with Bama just for the LSU melt . Can't decide if I am interested in him at Bama or not

To be honest, it sounds like excuses that butthurt LSU fans made up, but who knows. Maybe Sage saw Downs excel as a PR and now he wants in on the action.

I remember hoping he'd sign with Bama coming out of HS, but he's been pretty "meh" so far at LSU. But that may have more to do with how dysfunctional LSU is on defense than a lack of talent on his part.

This is where there is potential for a truly great corndog meltdown though. He enters the portal and they declare it no big deal because he's not that good. Then he signs with Alabama and it immediately becomes a national tragedy. Things are funny enough now, but imagine if he turns into a great player with some adequate coaching. They'd lose their fricking minds.

Lacy jumped off the screen to me, but I'm not a professional evaluator. Sad we missed out on him. My take priority would be:
Riley: but I'm not sold on him flipping; I think it's unlikely
Baugh: most likely, unless he wants to be a featured back like he would at ARK
Hill: he looks very athletic, but I would think of him more as needed depth than anything else
And regarding Sage Ryan, it would be funny to piss off LSU and he could definitely add some competition to Key at the safety spot opposite Downs.

On3 has an article with that info, but I don't have an On3 sub, so I can't tell you what it says
But yes, some HS recruits and portal recruits are visiting this weekend. Also, early enrollees are arriving this weekend so that they can participate in CFP practices. On3 Article

I didn't renew mine. There was some good info there, but when they added BOL, the forums just went to crap. Decided it wasn't worth it to balance the info from Bone and Tim with all the crying, whining, and complaining. The latter part of that is free Fromm some on this board, and the info comes out within a day, so why pay.... i also think the actual football discussions on this one are better.
