Listen I'm kinda glad we didn't get this kid. He is a really good talented player, but for the last three years he has been coached by a coach who lets the players run the coaches. At least the star players which he was the most talented one.

Like I said before he's a good kid but I don't think he wants to be coached hard. Which I hate because I know he has the talent.

I would rather get the talent and let Saban sort them out then not get the talent.

That’s why I said if the staff wanted him I wanted him but I also think you can have too many of those guys. For every Reuben Foster or Mack Wilson you also can get Brent Calloway and Agiye Hall. You’re right tho usually the coaches want them and will deal with the issues once they get enrolled.

No, it's also about how Bama does football like I said. Aka the pace. Bama isn't for everyone, and everyone isn't for Bama. Riddick wants to have fun in college. He's told several people this. He's also said he isn't worried about the winning.

some of y’all actually believe this? He’s told several people but it’s just now coming out when he goes to auburn?

This was posted by Tim Watts, not some random dude.

Not saying it is true, but he is about as good of source of information as anyone when it comes to recruiting.

Yeah I see your point but, if the kid is going to be a knucklehead then he is just going to be a cancer in the locker room.

Oh I didn’t check the secrb, so I thought it was from some random dude. Someone should let saban know he doesn’t care about winning. Doesn’t seem like a good culture fit

His quote following his commitment his words “ everyone is about winning but right now for me. I might could do that at Georgia or Alabama. At Auburn, I can feel at home, play early, work hard, and get to the next level while helping a program get back to winning more games.” - Demarcus Riddick

He is a good kid, my son said he told him he really likes auburns chill atmosphere. He got paid so I'm happy for him.

SIAP, but August 25th should be fun:

quote:

Class of 2025 wide receiver Ryan Williams and the Saraland Spartans will play host to the Lipscomb Academy Mustangs. The game is scheduled for Aug. 25th at 7:00 p.m. EDT on ESPN.

Class of 2024 quarterback Julian Sayin and the Carlsbad Lancers will take on the Mater Dei Catholic Crusaders. The game will occur on Aug. 25th at 9:00 p.m. EDT on ESPN2.

This is also nothing new. My fiancé is an auburn grad and worked in recruiting, Malzhan and his staff used to sell the same thing. Bama boring and not fun, Auburn fun and loose. Some kids want that. Hugh brings that same vibe just ask the Nkemdechie brothers. They had so much fun in college they started falling out of hotel windows.

Champions Cookout this weekend. Daniel Hill and Amari Jefferson seem to be the the most important non-committed prospects who are publicly attending. Most of the committed 2024 and 2025 prospects are expected to be there. Interested to see which prospects who didn't announce they were attending publicly show up.

This is a lie. Saban has said publicly that players on defense need to be having fun on the field and not over thinking and being robots.
