It’s harder to get excited about a “commitment” in the NIL era.
Maybe there’s a more accurate term for these announcements. “ Chris Booker has made a statement for Alabama.we will have further updates when he gets back from OSU next weekend.“

For me this is the main reason. It went from excitement when they gave a verbal to waiting to get excited once they sign. Now even a signature means very little. In todays era there is no commitment.
Plus on this board to many people complain about who we do not get or when we do they are not good enough. To many spoiled fans.

Just being in Huntsville ive seen Matthews and AU commit Hezekiah play. How Harris is rated higher is crazy. Must be that he is taller and longer.
