BOL Watts said Hampton is a WR recruit. If you watch his film he is just like Waddle.

Anyone know why Smith and Russaw haven't shown up on campus yet?

They were supposed to be there for the start of the semester.

A source close to the duo acknowledged that a final exam had to take place prior to their enrollment given by the Montgomery Board of Education. The exam took place on Thursday and Friday. The two completed, and passed the exam.

Russaw officially arrived at Alabama on Saturday. Smith has yet to join the team, but that will happen soon. The nation’s top defensive lineman according to On3 Sports is scheduled to arrive at Alabama on Tuesday.

I see Georgia attempting to make more recruiting inroads in Alabama. For the 2024 state of Alabama class, they have the #3 ILB (in the country) committed, and for 2025, they have the #5 Tackle (itc) committed. They are riding high off that national title popularity wave.

With Pruitt and Schumann on board if the rumors are true that may change.

We have yet to make a push for either. Check back in eight months from now after they camp with us and get committable offers.

4* Jalen Hale 53 - Up from 81 - Stayed 4 star
4* Jordan Renaud 56 - Up from 74 - Stayed 4 star
4* Jahlil Hurley 41 - Down from 41 - Stayed 4 star
4* Wilkin Formby 69 - Down from 51 - Stayed 4 star
4* Eldric Hill 93 - Down from 84 - Stayed 4 star
4* Richard Young 99 - Down from 97 - Stayed 4 star
4* Jaren Hamilton 120 - Down from 106 - Stayed 4 star
4* Eli Holstein 121 - Same - Stayed 4 star
4* Tony Mitchell 146 - Down from 75 - Stayed 4 star
4* Hunter Osborne 168 - Down from 163 - Stayed 4 star
4* Dylan Lonergan 181 - Down from 176 - Stayed 4 star
4* Olaus Alinen 203 - Up from 276 - Stayed 4 star
4* Bray Hubbard - Unranked - Gained 4th star
4* Desmond Ricks 43 - Up from 47 - Stayed 4 star
4* Justice Haynes 39 - Up from 43 - Stayed a 4 star
4* Que Rassaw 33 - Down from 25 - Lost 5th star (Don't understand but whatever, he is the highest ranked 4 star)
5* Kadyn Proctor 27 - Up from 44 - Gained 5th star
5* Yhonzae Pierre 17 - Up from 34 - Gained 5th Star
5* James Smith 10 - Down from 8 - Stayed a 5 star
5 *Caleb Downs 8 - Up from 11 - Stayed a 5 star
5* Keon Keely 2 - Up from 3 - Stayed a 5 star

Jahlil Hurly was at 41 so it looks like he fell out of the top 50.

They dropped Manning to 3 finally but still have him above Jackson Arnold which I cannot understand one bit.

Keely might be one.

ETA: Either Nelson or Iamaleava at 1.

ETAA: Missed Nelson at 30, Iamaleava at 1. I wonder if they used any of that 8 mil to pay on3 .

Surprised by the rankings of:
Haynes and Young
Holstein and Lonergan
Desmond Ricks, was 2024 5-star now a 4-star?
Tony Mitchell, 146??

We end up with only 5 5-stars; expected at least 7.
Three in the Top 10 is very impressive.

I think Mitchell is low but man they said he is linebacker size. The days of big safties are over.

The backs I'm not surprised on. In recent years most services are going to have only one 5 star back and usually 2 or 3 consensus 5 stars result in that. I think Young's fumbles in the all star game may have hurt him. Not sure how he looked in practice.

Corner I am really shocked. Mathews moved from out of sight to the only 5 star. They must really not like this class compared to years past.

Holstein and Lonergan are basically where they have been and I think their QB evals are a little wild anyway.

Tony has taken a hit across the recruiting service although this is a bigger one than others. Don't know if it is how he handled the recruitment process or overall play that is impacting him.

Your boy Woods dropped 30 which is seems bizarre.

They are the only service that have Hurley listed as a safety which I'm lost on.

Recruiting services love Hubbard, lunch pail guy.
