That's my feeling as well. I guess money is the main goal for most of these kids.

Let’s be honest… put yourself if the same situation.

My 18 year old self would take the money and play wherever. If you’re good enough you’ll find yourself in the NFL which is just more money.

A lot of these kids are living in the now just like we were then.

No it isn't. Many of these kids come from bad financial circumstances. Prove me wrong

I don't have to prove your dumb comment wrong. Many of these kids come from better financial situations than you currently are in.

You just think they're all poor for some reason..

This is the same ignorance that dumb LSU fans use to cry anytime they see a player drive a Dodge Charger as if that is an expensive (or special) car and as if many of this kids don't have families which could afford to lease one when they don't have to pay for a college tuition.

The only "reason" (and I know what you are hinting at) is because it is truth for many of them. Yes there are some rich kids who play ball. And there are some very poor kids who play ball and are quite good at it. You are projecting your own racism on a sympathetic statement. Factual, but sympathetic

NIL is only going to get schools like Auburn, a&m and Tennessee so far. Eventually they will have to start winning shite or they will just keep firing coaches.

Winning is fun and all, but getting paid and then going to the NFL is were it's at. When Saban retires, Alabama best jump full board on the NIL train or get left behind. You have to get the talent on campus somehow.

I don’t know why some of y’all think we don’t play the nil game. They play it, very well. Look at our class last year. Hell we got tony Mitchell who was long known to be going to the highest bidder

I guess the weed business wasn't bringing in enough for a car to go 141 MPH

Maybe or maybe not. We will know in the next couple of years. I sold a house to a couple whose children went to high school with Tony Mitchell. It was during the middle of all that mess back in the spring. I asked him is this a surprise to you that he got caught doing what he was doing. The kids reply was, no he was doing it in school and everyone knew it. I asked him if he knew Tony Mitchell, and he said not really, but that people liked him. I was a teacher and a coach for seven years, I had some really troubled students. But if they have a good personality and decent attitude, I could work with them and try to get the best out of them. I hope this will be the case with Tony.

What’s the latest regarding Riddick that you guys are hearing? I’m hearing it has moved back from heavy Aub lean to only slightly Aub lean now.

It’s not going to be over until December regardless of what happens tomorrow.
