If Locksley goes to Maryland, I hope he takes Butch with him. He could be Locks' puppet OC.

Don't know but he had surgery on the one he injured earlier in the game. Not the one that was stepped on by his lineman.

This. The media (and I was too) are mistaken about him getting hurt in the forth quarter. He was hurt on the first drive. The opposite ankle got stepped on - which basically made it extremely difficult to continue to overcompensate for the truly injured ankle.
Eta: Hurt left ankle on first drive and that's the one he had surgery on. JW stepped on his right ankle.
Basically he played the entire game with a high ankle sprain (which explains a decent bit). The media (who already understandably have some Bama fatigue) either don't know this or are not mentioning it much relative to the Heisman debate.

I would miss seeing Butch celebrate on the sidelines. It causes so many feelings for some of our friends.
