with everything that has already happened in the locksley/maryland history, i'm shocked he's even a candidate for the job. one thing for sure, if he does get the job, then this nick saban coaches rehabilitation program is some mighty skrong sauce

Rehiring Locksley would be ill-advised so you can be certain that UM is heavily considering it.

Funny because it's true.

Kevin Hagan (along with several of you) said he would not be surprised if Locks got a new gig BUT he would be surprised if it was Maryland.

We've already got 2 WRs in the 2020 class and that kid from Montevallo is close to announcing too. I guess we decided to go all in next year at the position.

Per a couple of the guys that I read, Bama's staff is REALLY high on Evans. Kid is a stud WR that will be a high 4* before too long.

As long as Enos and Gattis stay, then we will be just fine.

MANY people have said that Locksley and the Maryland AD really dislike each other a good bit. I guess we'll see if that's true or if they could put their differences aside.

Can anyone summarize the BOL article on Nathan Pickering's visit?

When I went to Alabama, every single player talked about how great of man Saban is,” Clark added. “They talked about him like he is the President. When I went to every other school, no other team talked about their coach in that way.”

Clark also noticed how every other program is striving to be like the Tide.

“Every other school compared themselves to Alabama,” Clark said. “They said we have this and Alabama has that. I spent an entire 45 minutes talking to Saban and he didn’t say a single word about another school.”

If someone chummed the water with this on the SECr heads would explode.

"Once I committed I’ve tried my best to stay committed as I can. The only thing that would probably change me is if something drastic happened, like the coaching staff gets fired or something, but I don’t see anything like that happening.”

I lack the skills to pull it off properly. The last time I tried I had just popped an ambiem and a melatonin for bed. Total failure.

Ty Robinson has picked up 2 new CBs to Nebraska today, following his OV to Bama.

“Definitely in my top four,” Robinson said of where the Tide stands. “I don’t really rank them because it’s just so hard with what they have to offer for each program. But definitely the four visits I’ve been on have been the four schools that I’m interested in the most.” (Nebraska, USC, Oregon, Alabama)

He’s going Braska! With a slight possibility to Oregon! If we can get one more dline to go with Sopsher we hope it’s Ika or Pickering. Room is gonna be sooo tight tho

USC is definitely in the mix for Robinson too. Yeah, it looks like we may not have room to justify taking Ika in addition to Sopsher, and I doubt there's much chance Pickering will flip. 6 DL is actually enough and we need the room to take 6 LBs. If we can land Bogle in addition to Dean and To'oto'o, we should take all 3, imo.

USCw will have to play catch up with them firing his primary recruiter and would be position coach. He said he will have decided after his Bama trip, making those CBs al the more foreboding.

Hell, Robinson looks like Nebraska's mascot...

Oh, I wasn't aware USC had fired their DL coach. Yeah, that could impact Ty Robinson's decision. Anyway, I don't think he's coming to Bama. He might not even have a green light at this point.

It appears that Thibs is leaning toward Oregon and Bogle toward Bama at this point. Bogle seems to really like and fit the Bama program culture much more than Thibs does. Bogle has mom's blessing to come to Bama too. I suppose Tosh and Saban will go see Thibs in-home after this weekend and see what he's gonna do.
